I wish classical orchestras around the globe paid more tributes like this to modern music (preferably metal :)). That's the best way to bring younger audiences into concert halls.

I agree. The feeling is in Kevin Moore's subtle playing of the melody and in the sound design and production. But the melody, by classical standards, is very naive and so this arrangement tries to bring some additional sophistication and exploit the guitar's possibilities. Since the original is so memorable, a person who doesn't know it might enjoy this version more easily.
