The trick of crossing the 2 stitches after CO underarm works beautifully. I had a bit of a gap before the CO so I tried crossing those stitches on the purl row and it closed the gap nicely. Thank you so much.
Thank you Sara for this great tutorial, knitting with circular needles was a first for me (sometimes challenging......) and I would have never tried it without you. The dress came out very nice. I can try the matching cardigan now! Be well.
Hi, thank you for your clear, easy to follow you tutorial. I just finished knitting this beautiful dress. My first time doing a knitted dress. Your tutorial made it happen and I am so happy I found your channel.
I have a pattern for a tunic baby dress, but I’m so lost. I wish I could send it to you and have you do a tutorial. Yours are so helpful. As a beginner, patterns are very confusing and intimidating.
Yay you are back!! Being waiting for your return. I can now knit the continental way and it’s so much better and easier on my arms, wrists and hands! The dress looks beautiful but a bit advanced for me!
I love this little dress! I've been knitting along with your previous tutorial of this one. It works up quickly and is a really fun knit. I did make a tiny change in the increase round just after the waist section, I hope you don't mind. I worked knit 1, knit 1 in front & back loop, instead of knit 2, yarn over. I would just like to say that, thanks to you, I am finally getting the hang of magic loop knitting and your videos are always a joy to watch. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. They keep me stitching and looking forward to my next make 🤟☮️💕🧶

I loved this pattern so much!!! Thank you. One request, can you please share how to make a matching hairband with a bow? Looking forward to your reply. ❤❤😊
Wow this dress is so easy to make, so much easier than the vest I’m trying to knit for my son. Is there any chance you could do a baby boy vest tutorial? I’ve made three things from your videos so far and as a beginner you’ve been really helpful. I started with your knitted baby booties, then knitted beanies/hats and now this. Thanks for helping me make clothes for my babies 😊
I love watching your tutorials! Do you ever do any cardigans for little boys? I have a baby boy nephew coming in December and I would like to knit something for him in addition to the baby blanket I'm working on. Thanks!
Thank you for your support 💕 right now I don’t have any specifically for boys but this one is unisex just use a smaller needle size to make it smaller as mentioned in the video ruclips.net/video/zQXEAs6kZhw/видео.html I’ll try to make one soon specifically for boys 😉 I just got some lovely Merino yarn in blue 😀
Thankyou so much. I will get started on this as soon as I can get the yarn! I was just praying for a tunic knit dress I could do as a beginner so I could complete the outfits (with the cardigans you designed) for my daughter/nieces this winter. I also had a question, and that is, as a is there a way you recommend to join a new ball of yarn as unnoticeably as possible? Jane
@@Auzzie1 aww thanks so much, that's a great tip. I thought of doing that before but for some reason my feelings of having to use every bit of yarn stopped me from joining in an ideal place. Will remember that sometimes it is worth starting at the beginning of row for appearance.

Could this dress be knitted on straight needles? Ive never used the needles you used in the tutorial. Its a really pretty design and a matching cardigan would make a lovely set thank you
Glad you like it 🤗 unfortunately this particular design would be very difficult to knit using straight needles. The only thing I can think of is making the back the front with buttons down the length of the dress.

Hello Sara. Thanks for this beautiful baby dress. My question is, here in toronto 3 dk yarn is light abd 8 ply but 4 is medium 10 ply so I should use worsted also known as Aran yarn to make this or 8 ply dk 3? Can you please advise

As I watch this video, you make it seem so easy...but I consider myself a born-again beginner... it's so complicated for me...I hold my working yarn in my right hand..🤣😂
Yes give it a try! Take it slow and don’t worry how I knit which is combination continental style. You can knit and purl however you can and the end result will be the same I promise 😉👍
Love the pattern and most of the instructions are very easy to follow, however at 21:50 minutes you state "I'm going to start you off here on the third row and you're going to continue and finish the rest of the repeat, and then the 6 rows of garter stitch" which I did, only to watch further through the video at 23:20 to see that I should not have done the garter stitch rows as you had previously instructed, but should have segmented off the arms instead. This means I'll now have to tink 1206 stitches which is unbelievably frustrating. Here's hoping it comes out of the naughty corner one day for me to complete, but it won't be today. :(
