I will trying this because I prefer not to fry it and this is a good recipe. Sometimes I put it in the air fryer and spray with the can spray on the white flour.
I LOVE this recipe, and the fact that you kept it so simple, does this recipe only work for dark meat? How is with boneless, skinless white meat. I’m thinking the Mayo/mustard mixture should keep it moist???
Hello, upon googling and personal experience it seems Marinating in citrus can help tenderize meat and add flavor, and can also help reduce harmful compounds that develop during cooking. Hope this helps. ☺️
@@catchingupclassyI was revisiting this video to make this chicken but realized I didn’t know the approximate amount of citrus juice added to the water. I understand you don’t use exact proportions but would 2 Tablespoons citrus to 2 cups water sound reasonable? Thanks
Looks delicious! I am definitely going to make this ❤
It is! I hope you enjoy it as much I did. 🥰

How much longer did you bake them after basting with the juices?
About 30 minutes. Total baking time should be 1.5 hours

Question. What’s the purpose of marinating it in citrus juice. I’m not questioning the process, just want to learn. 😊
