That's a very good RL crew! They tip fast and they seem to work well together. Good to see the driver helping out too. Made each stop just a tad bit faster, but I'm sure the time adds up. Huge fan of Volvo FEs, nice to see video of one on a residential route. The tippers are good too, very fast and has a good dump angle. Awesome looking LEU, love that truck with the side CNG tank and all. Great area for filming btw, love that part of LA County. Great video!
Nice video Eli. Glad you filmed this truck and Tony a while back. I've always wanted to see these, esp in WM colors but sucks that theyre gone now. This is good enough. Also never knew 322 did Malibu.
+South Bay Refuse Thanks, I think Tony only got a clip. It was 312 and I've seen him out there multiple times now. Their Monday and Wednesday routes are ridiculously large, which is why they need more than just the Volvos.
I've always found it cool how UWS's trucks will literally travel across the county. Both of these have collected by me multiple times. cool to see more of this too; I regret not filming a full video the couple of times I've seen it doing bulk. nice video, liked the ocean shots. And the Amrep is on an LEU not an MRU
+WasteManTony Yeah I agree. Pretty amazing how they travel from practically downtown LA all the way out to Leo Carrillo State Beach on the Monday route. God knows how long it takes, let alone the gas used. I knew it was on an LEU but this description was kind of written in like 30 sec on my iphone in the car lol
Interesting little truck. Pretty cool seeing a truck like this still in California. Seems like the worst choice to use on an automated route though, especially with the Pak-Mor's tiny hopper. Pretty cool seeing this anyway!
Nice job Eli first of all loving that scenery at Malibu and second I really love That truck hope they don't get rid of it soon didn't la have one like this back in the 90's ? I loved that g.i can too and those 30 gal UWS carts .Great job can't wait to see more from you
Great vid Eli! This truck is amazing! Love the growl it gives off at takeoff! What size is the body (how much can it hold)? Can't wait for the North Bay Corporation video! Was that Volvo WXLL split Rapid Rail the only truck you filmed, or did you also film an Autocar Heil 7000, like 9018?
+GarbageSean Thanks! I wish I had gotten a shot of it climbing a hill, but by the time I had caught up with it I was too late. North Bay will be uploaded next weekend. Only got to find the Volvo WXLL, but will get more footage of other trucks the next time I'm up there.
Thanks! This truck no longer runs on this route, but they are still used regularly in the windy and tight mountain roads in Topanga. Yeah, most of these long beach house stretches are all automated routes now, however last Thursday I did see an Ex-ESD CCC full size PakMor on the thursday side of PCH

+WMmaster626 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the footage!
no way ! a euro cab that's really rare for the states
Great video! That's a neat little truck, but it sure looks like it can hold a lot. Great find!
+thelyokofannumber1 Thanks! I was surprised as well to see how much this thing could pack.
Woah that packer cycle was surprisingly (awesomely) quick! Also really like the mismatched cart tippers. Nice post.
+georgewuzheer Agreed! Thank you very much for the comment!

K0000L find! ya can't NOT love UWS with their diverse fleet...
+Trashman242 Haha thanks! I just hope I can find their Ex-ESD before its gone for good
SoCalGarbageTrucks Is it a spare and hardly ever used?
***** last time I saw it out was around 4pm on a Monday driving on PCH back in March

+garbageproductions1 Thanks! UWS runs some of the coolest trucks in LA. Agreed, but this crew seemed to make it work.

+Kanyile Ahegbebu Thanks Kanyile actually LA had a Mack Midliner, which has a similar design to the older Volvo FE. Glad you enjoyed :)
nice find for a back loader normally I find bulk rear loaders.

Nice work! They still run these trucks as spares or are they gone? I think it was wise of Universal to make that long street fully automated.

+Sanitation727 also a Volvo WX64 Single Axel Rapid Rail
volvo FL was from 80s to mid 2000s
I’ll laugh if that helper gets his foot smashed putting it there. And he also takes to long to run the packer blade keep it going.
