Does this have a filter to clean with the pump? I have one and cannot figure out how to clean the pump drain area and I have some sludge forming on the inside of the hose
I've had three of these GE 50pt dehumidifiers and they have a horrible failure rate. None of ours lasted more than a year, and two lasted only a few months. That's hard to know when you're doing a review of a brand-new unit, but it's worth being aware of if you're researching them. GE will replace them if under warranty, but that process is tedious, and they are hard to dispose of. As the review mentioned, they are loud and difficult to move. I have been pleased with our Midea Cube thus far.

I would love to see a review of the new IQ HEALTHPRO PLUS XE it seems like an important update to an older purifier.
Thanks for another review! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you manage to review in the coming years!
Thanks for the comment! I do hope to branch out and review more types of products in the future.
