After a year of dreaming up what this basement would look like, I finally transformed it into my dream entertainment room perfect for movie and game nights, complete with a cute lounge area with a bar plus a cozy reading nook. Ahhhh a true navy color, so many peeps showing their navy painted items that don't come across as true Navy, my favorite color.....yours does! Brilliant with the curtains, it will also keep floating dust from migrating from the workshop to the living space. Brilliant! Love the bar!

i think you should paint the trim navy too. right now the bright white of the trim is (1) shortening the wall (it would also help if you painted the ceiling navy, but i get that that's a much bigger undertaking) and (2) detracting from the richness/drama/moodiness of the navy.
