I took one of my reborns into the home my mum was in the nurse took it to show to a lady who had not sat up or spoken for months she sat up and said awe baby everyone was in tears

This is great I work with Altimeters and dementia patients. I worked with a elderly lady named Alice and she loved to carry her stuff bunny around like a baby. She would even feed it at meal times. She would of lived one of those dolls.

That is a very Beautiful video and I think that is so very Special too do I understand the need off a pretty baby doll because I deal with anxiety disorder and Panic attacks and PTSD disorder and it helps me also too deal with issues and calm me down some people don't understand the true True Therapy off the babies but I do and I want too thank the Lady's for doing that for the women God Bless you all 👍👍👍😇💖💖💙

I used to work at a nursing home. They love dogs too, so if anyone wants an idea on what you can do for seniors in homes, bring your dog by.
I work in a nursing home. One Resident got a life like baby doll from her fam and it brought alot of problem coz another one wanted it so bad. She would steal it and the 'mum' would go histerical. So the management bought another one urgently and the other 18 residents would sorround the dolls. So every familly was asked to bring their parents a doll. Suprisingly the men were not curdly with the dolls but they could comment how sweet they were
Maybe because most men are affraid of newborn babies. They're so little we're affraid we're gonna drop or beak 'em. This only lasts for a couple of weeks after they are born. Lol
That's a good point. In the end, I'm sure they were all happier with their little ones, even if it got quite hectic!

I think it's great that the little old ladies are playing with the preborn dolls! Now let them visit with real babies. I'd love for you to record their comments on their experiences as parents to give parenting advice and talk about their lives with their families. They are not old and have lots to contribute. Let them live as independently as they can for as long as they can! Quality of life for maximum quantity!

I remember a man getting a boy baby doll, and he just reminded me of Geppetto from Pinocchio saying someday you will be a real boy. It not just for women men can have baby dolls too
I collect reborns ... Knockoffs but my sister and son have been told when I pass on the kids n grandkids may each pick ONE and my sister gets a very specific 3 the rest they are to donate to an Alzheimer's and dementia unit and I know they will honor that wish. My great grandmother had a baby years ago when I was like 10 maybe and the way she watched it I knew right then that's what I wanted to do for them for when I got older.
I would love to do something like this❤️

I love the concept and this is a beautiful thing. I am curious, do they all understand and is aware that the dolls are not real? I wouldn't want any of these grand moms to suffer any mental anguish. This is something that all couples who want to be parents as well expectant mothers and fathers should experience.
I am just now seeing this video about the dolls and I suspect it depends on how far the dementia has progressed in each woman, if they are far enough they really think these dolls are babies, and from just the little bit I see of the video I would have to guess they are all that far into the dementia to think the dolls are real babies.

Do the patients know the babies aren’t alive?
I use dolls like these because I have anxiety and depression. I’m to the point where I change their diaper and feed them. It makes me sad when I go to work because I have to leave her home. It hurts….
As long as the carers actually keep each baby in the persons;s room and they dont all get chucked in a communal bucket
