Is it truly the only movie the song appears? That's almost impossible to believe... Maybe it is really just the tiger iconography in the movies you pointed out.
Yea, I was surprised at first too. It also only appears right at the opening of the film during the montage of Rocky becoming famous and Clubber Lang climbing the boxing ranks; so the song is actually more of Clubber's training theme than it is Rocky's. The main training montage is set to Gonna Fly Now like usual.
Thanks for continuing to watch :) I've had a ton of growth since April when I made the first ReBoot video, but most of that growth hasn't translated as well to the movie reviews as it has to the retro tv reviews. I've been trying to get better at tags and thumbnails though!
I know I've always wanted to see Applo and Clubber go at it when he disrespected Applo during their first fight, I like to think that if he could've taken Applo at the beginning then by the end after they've been training for Rocky's rematch that Applo could've just as easily stepped in the ring in Rocky's place if he had to last minute and beaten Clubber just like Rocky did 💪😉
