Hope you enjoy this video! Working at a startup has been a ton of fun and I've already learned SO much. LMK if you have any questions about working at an early stage startup! Also - can you spot the typo in this video that I was too lazy to fix??
So cool to see what you’ve been up to! ChatPRD has loads of potential-I love how your awareness video about it (which even beat Lenny from Lenny’s podcast) was the indirect spark that got you this new gig. Can’t wait to see what comes next!
Congrats on the new role!! Excited to see more career updates as the product gets even more traction - I need to check it out, lately my product documentation has been harder to execute 😅. P.S. love the vlog style - thanks for giving us a peak into your day!
Enjoyed this video a lot! Please do more "day in a life" videos. Also curious to know if you had doubts going into something new. I get these doubts a lot.
So happy you liked it! Always have doubts but nothing in your career is permanent, so usually worth trying something new and if you don’t like it, you’ll find something else!
Loved seeing your day. I can totally relate to the diverse work day when working in an early-stage start-up, and I also like it a lot haha If you don't mind sharing, what made you want to leave a big company?
Well it’s a long story as to why I left adobe, that might be for another video 😂 But I in general have a preference for smaller companies. I actually was only at adobe because the smaller company I worked for was acquired!
Hi Alisa, can you do a video on severe burnout and also talk about what a product person can do if they are in a state of disorganization and is just lost in the moment due to stress and burnout. How can they start fresh immediately despite the past things that might have been forgotten or not done yet? How does a product person get through too much deliverables without having any support?
For me I’m realizing if I can record my meetings as one step it will help as I can go back and relisten but the softwares that I like to use to record are not always approved and team members don’t really like their meetings recorded either but it helps me. So I don’t know what to do really.
