So the gen ed classes it’s compulsory to do math and science if you’re majoring in film and television?
Sadly, yes. 🤧 (there's no science tho) it's 1 math class, like 4 or 5 history classes, 1 business class and like 4 or 5 English classes) depending on your major, the amount of these classes will change

Hey Elizabeth! I wouldn't worry about my GPA if I were you. As long as your portfolio looks good, then you'll be on your way to SCAD in no time!
How do you like Atlanta campus vs. Savannah? I'm a UX major but will minor in game dev. I want to get the most out of SCAD, but in all honesty I kinda hate Savannah and love being in the city. I want to meet people and get involved in student clubs/events. Is the smaller Atlanta campus still alright?
Atlanta Campus is the best way to experience SCAD in my opinion. The fact that it's a smaller campus makes it so much better! It's like a little community where everyone knows each other, all the buildings are in walking distance and well, ur in the city😂 the only downside I'd say is that the atlanta campus doesn't have all the majors and sometimes they don't have all the specific classes ud want to take, so make sure you do ur research first and find out if UX design major is available at the Atlanta Campus!

How much control does a freshman have over their schedule?
Your first quarter here, SCAD preselects your classes for you. After that you can go in and register for the classes you want. Ofcourse there are prerequisites (classes you have to take first before others) but other than that it's all up to how fast your able to sign up for the classes before the fill up and if they don't overlap woth other classes. Also keep in mind that when registering for classes, freshmen are the last to be able to do that. It's athletes first, then seniors, juniors, sophomores then freshmen. So most of the times classes u want are all taken by the time ur register time is open 🥲

With the acting minor they have at scad did it look like an set like fake kitchen or apartment type thing have you ever had come act in front of the class
We have a fake set here at atlanta but we dont really use it for acting class sadly. in acting class we get scripts to memories and perform in class infornt of a camera and then we critique it

@@jayden_1845 We dont usually dress up, also no i dont reccomend minoring in anything tbh. U dont get a degree or anything for a minor here, also its just extra money. if you wanna major in acting then they have a full degree at the savannah campus. but instead u could use your electives and take acting classes with those like i did after dropping my minor
@@SebaneseTheLebanese okay so scad give you choice if u want a minor I thought it was mandatory and I have question more of I wants your opinion I have family that stay in savannah and scad told me I can stay off campus my freshman year I just have to show proof and documents that I live in savannah and have place to stay but I kinda want to stay on campus to have that experience but I know staying on campus would be way more expensive so is living in dorm having that experience would it be worth it
@@jayden_1845 I definitely would support staying in dorms, its a much better experience! U can also try and apply to become an RA, it's alot of work but u get free housing!

Remembering lines is one of my weaknesses, I'm more of an improviser so yh.. it was kinda hard 😂😂
Do you know what date is the deadline to submit the proof of your high school diploma im doing my junior and senior year together and I be finish at the end of July going into august I be graduating at end of July and not June
SCAD is a rolling admission! U can submit anytime u want! You should try to start your application early tho and then send in your stuff bit by bit depending on how soon u want to get started at scad!
Okay thanks I’m taking my SAT In October and than I’m apply to scad after that I want start in fall of 2023 I just want make sure I have all of my stuff submitted before the deadline

@@jayden_1845 yup! There are many jobs u can take. I'm a Student Ambassador and an RA. The only one that really pays good is RA tbh.. 😂 and during winter break everyone has to leave the dorms and go back home but during summer, if your taking classes u can stay and work during the summer. Also, ask as many questions as u like!
