Thank you everyone, we can't answer each one of you but we always read all your comments, we always did indeed. We can't thank you enough for all your love and support during this long journey, it meant a lot to us. We never gave up trying to improve the gameplay everytime and push the boundaries a little further. Thank YOU for giving us this chance. With Love, Baldo
Honestly!!! It's so generous of them so offer these free DLCs when they really really don't have too. I can't wait to see their next amazing game! These guys are FANTASTIC and I am 1000% buying this game this weekend!!
which is why i've decided to support their work. at first when it launched it looked so appealing but i was hesitant cus of how buggy it looked but they stuck with it and they've earned alot of gamers' respect and appreciation. they've convinced me to buy it
Oh wow, super cool support from the Devs here. I bought Baldo physically ages ago and am still trying to get round to firing it up. Really nice to see it's in an even better state when I am ready to pick it up!
I am getting some Nino Kuni vibes & I am fully in to this! Gutted to hear it came out not at its best, but wow, well done to the devs. I hope that people go back to it/lots of new people find it. Cheers guys for chucking this on the radar. +1 to the backlog 🤦🏻♀️
Right. All the day1 reviews dont update their reviews when it's patched, hence it's important reviewers should at least tag the version of the game when reviewed. And I agree on NK vibes, that was a good game too
I grabbed this early on, but was waiting on the All Patched Up series to give me the green light to begin. Unfortunately my backlog is too ridiculous and I haven’t even scratched the surface. Great to hear the support the devs have given to Baldo and will be doing an update and may finally give it a run. CHEERS! 🍻
Hey guys, I absolutely love that you often come back to games that came out in a poor state but deserve to be improved. Very few channels do that. So great. Baldo looked so good, seemed so cool. It was such a shame it was not as good as it could be. It's so nice to see that the team continued to work on it to the point it actually became a great game. I really want to play it now.
This game has gone from an "I'm not sure about this" to an "I'm really sure about this!" It looks lovely now, and I'm definitely getting it. Thank you for chronicling this redemption story.
refreshing to hear how committed these devs are to their game after all this time. i've been excited about this game since it was revealed but heard all the lackluster opinions of it and cautiously avoided it in hopes it would get patched. NOW finally ready to throw myself into the best version of it!
I remember first seeing this in one of your videos and thinking it looked so interesting but felt reluctant because of the issues…looks like it’s finally going on the backlog! Thanks guys, I’ve enjoyed watching the game get better bit by bit
I've been wanting to play this and from this video I see that it's the perfect time! Much respect to the devs for not abandoning a game like so many tend to do.
7:21 I hope most of us are alive by 2060 to get to play there next game... Baldo took 15 years and even though it had its fair share of problems you could see the love was there and the rest fixing the game whole lot of extra free content its just amazing to have such a great team bring such a warn lovely game that for us who played it we know it was a great adventure with or without the problems.... Best of luck to the team and viva Baldooooo 🙂✌️
I've considered playing this since launch because I'm a big fan of Ni no kuni and the artstyle really speaks to me, but now I'm absolutely certain I'll have a blast playing it! I just love when devs stick with their game and continue to update it until it's perfect.
I love Ni No Kuni!! You will definitely like Baldo as well!!

You teased us a few weeks ago with a screenshot of Baldo. I watched your previous videos. It's almost like a fairy tale within the video game industry. Congratulations to everyone.
I'd love to play this! Great that the company keeps adding DLC and for FREE which is very rare these days. Thanks for the review and to the developers. ❤
I just got a notification on DekuDeals of this game having a sale in my region! I've always liked the look. I've never played an old school Zelda game so I have no preconceived notions so this should be a good time!
I've been tracking this game for a while, seeing the updates and admiring the work the Devs have put into it. It's lovely to see and clearly a game they wanted to do justice too. Love that SwitchUp have really taken this game to their hearts and brought it to people attention👍
Wahey! I couldn't be happier about this, so glad to see a great game reach it's full potential. I actually won a copy of it from this very channel (thanks again!) and it's a perfect time to revisit it Well done Naps Team x
I remember I was very intrigued about this game and with everything going on back then I ended up not getting it. After watching this review it back back the magic 😮. We’ve been blessed with all these amazing games. Thank you for reviewing
It looks so interesting! I donno how I missed this game, even though I watch the channels update almost everytime. Love it that you guys revisit games like this. Would love to play it❤.
Been interested in this one for a while but never got around to getting it, may have to bump this up in the backlog, always nice to see developers who stick with their games and who are super passionate about their game and community too! Great video as always!
Thanks for the update video. Glad to see a game getting continued support and a developer caring about the quality of their game post release. Keep up the good work!
I bought this game a while ago to show support to the devs, but have yet to play it. Now with so much contents I'm definitely going to start playing it soon. Probably right after I finish TotK!
This is awesome. Im glad that the game ended up being good. I was holding off to buying it but I might actually play it finally! Thanks team, awesome video as always!
Oh woah I wasn’t expecting another one of these videos on my feed. Impressive that they never gave up on their game. Kudos to them as some companies not only don’t fix their game but also not keep their customers in the know of them actually fixing it.
Appreciate the effort from the developer here and to you guys for continuing to update as the game grew into the game it should be. The art style is beautiful, so glad the game as a whole matches that promise now. Time for me to take the plunge with this one I’d say
Ive wanted to play this for the longest time. It feels like now would be a great time! I always struggle to commit to a game 🙈 my wish list is a mile long while I sit here not sure what I want to play.
What a gem of a game. You can tell the devs really put love into it. Sadly, I no longer own the game anymore, but after this new content I will definitely be picking this up again!
Mark, Mark, Mark, you’re killing me! Dragging me back into the Baldo world, one I followed for years and years before it released, then played, loved through gritted teeth, until its faults just ground me down. Like phenotopia it was hard as nails but I soldiered through, didn’t finish due to various issues, backtracking and vague direction. Gonna have to redownload to play this DLC, I’m trusting you that my enjoyment will Out way the grind, coz I still love the Baldo style
Kudos to them for sticking with it. I bought the physical version back in March, and played it in July or so, with whatever was the most up to date version at the time. It was nice, but not without it's hame breaking glitches at times, like Puzzles that would break easily and become impossible to complete. I can't quite put it into words but some moments were infuriating because of that... And some Puzzles I solved but wondering if I got them because I glitched my way through or whether I did it the intended way. I still enjoyed it overall despite that and I'm still glad I got it cause it has magical moments. It's a very pretty game with an amazing soundtrack and the frog singer still cracks me up and its song makes me giggly happy inside 😊
I was interested in this game when it was first announced. The reviews starting the game had many issues stopped me from buying it. Now that I've heard it's the great game I always thought it could be, I finally bought it. Thank you to the developers for not leaving it a broken game.
I wound up returning this game at launch due to all the issues, but I'm happy to see they worked so hard on it. I need to add it to my list to buy again I guess.
When the Legend of Zelda is going to a different direction starting BOTW, its nice to see indie devs preserve the classic and nostalgic mechanics that made the old school Zelda shine. It's great that the devs polished the game since its rough launch. A big respect for them. I'll be supporting their future project.❤
I’ve always wanted to play this game, I absolutely loved the look of it and I’m a huge Zelda fan. Not to mention this would look beautiful on the switch and cozy to play:) I can’t wait to have the chance to play, hopefully I’ll get the chance soon, but I’ve fallen on some super difficult times. Trying to stay positive so thanks for this vid! I love hearing about the game progressing!
Beautiful game and it's now complete. It has been sitting on my wishlist for a while now. I might just pick it up for the holidays. And thank you guys for your amazing work! Looking forward to the insane amount of content you always give us in December. I don't know how you do it (while playing so many games), but I'm here for it.
Gratz again Mark for keeping tabs on this game. I ended going out on a limb and snatching Baldo up physically just due to your continued passion and updates on the game. I am a bit bummed out I missed out on getting the collectors edition of it but maybe in the future I might stumble across a chance to snag one🤞
I’m actually just really happy. I was so bummed out when it came out and the reviews were so bad. I waited forever for it. But now I’m for sure getting it.
Need to get back into this. Played after your initial resurrection of Baldo video and it had a few things that I couldn’t get into but honestly think I was just too hyped for TOTK. After playing TOTK and reflecting on this, the world building in Baldo is so much better. Every corner you turn feels like a real place that is actually lived in instead of just a templated town half a dozen times over.
I love when a developer understands their issues with the launch of the game, takes in feedback, and makes a great game out of it. No blame game, no fake apology, just pure passion in your project. Will definitely be picking this up.
I am amazed of all that new content the devs added to the game. Looks like is finally time to take the plunge and get it -though I'm still hoping to find the physical version, I'll probably end getting the digital.
We really saw a rock turn into a diamond, great job to the developers!!! I hope they make a Baldo 2 but definitely wait until the exact right time to release it.
Imagine a world where they spent more time on it initially, and released it in a state that was received well. Maybe they would have been satisfied, said they're done and moved on. Sometimes it's important to remember that a failure can lead to a greater success than what you would have achieved.
Love the Ghibli-style art and the gameplay looks much smoother now. I only heard of this game through you guys, so maybe it’s time to get it now it’s finally complete?…
Man this is awesome. So impressed that not only did the patch the crap out of their game well after release but put out an expansions worth of content for free!
Love how you’ve continued to believe and cover this game despite the initial release! Still haven’t gotten around to pick this one up because of backlog, but this video definitely makes me want to just go ahead 😁 Thanks for the continuous coverage and thanks to the developers for continuing working on the game!
This looks absolutely adorable. I'm glad that on newer systems developers who have a passion for what they've created can see their vision played out through updates.
Love when devs stick with their game through difficulties. I was impressed by this at first but was hesitant until they worked out the kinks, looks like it’s well worth the purchase price now
Had my eye on this one since it was revealed, however the poor reviews steered me away. Awesome to see a developer go back and put the time and love into a project to get it right. Better late than never I suppose. I'll be sure to grab this after I get through Mario Wonder, Spiderman 2, and Mario RPG... This year has been rough on the billfold!
Thanks guys! Without you guys I would never have known there was an update. I have the physical copy and I love the game, especially after the improvements!
Absolutely amazing when I first brought the game I loved the look of it played it and hated the frustrating combat. However with all these updates and the combat being a bit more lenient I have really enjoyed it it
i'm so glad that they've come so far in improving this game. i was really excited for it when i saw the first couple of trailers. the game at launch was a bit of a sucker punch. a lot of things were exactly what i was expecting - in particular the setting and visuals, which are gorgeous and absolutely charming - but most of the main complaints were very warranted. it's always really cool to watch developers refuse to give up on their games and vastly improve the experience from launch. baldo, cyberpunk, no man's sky, etc.
Being a massive Zelda fan with a daughter who is a massive Ghibli fan, I always thought that Baldo looked like a perfect game for us to play through together. The initial reception put me off, but maybe now is the time to take the leap. Big respect to the team for sticking with it.
I was so hyped when this was announced then incredibly disappointed when I heard about how the release version was. I'm so glad it's finally been finished and can't wait to get it now. Hopefully they can get their next game to this kind of state before release.
Pleasantly surprised. A couple years ago a forum post from the devs seemed to indicate that since you could complete the game, the updates were done. Seversl major updates since then. 👍👍
Thank you everyone, we can't answer each one of you but we always read all your comments, we always did indeed. We can't thank you enough for all your love and support during this long journey, it meant a lot to us. Bought today and having a blast on Switch ❤
Orgoglio siciliano ❤
I bought the physical version really good so far
Daje ragazzi. Complimenti!
Can we get a PS STORE SALE?
Any team that sticks with their game, working on it until they’re happy with its quality, always gets tons of respect from me!
Yeah it’s quality! Mark
Not me. Put out crap move on. That’s the good stuff.
Well they did sell an incomplete game to begin with. But I like your "glass half full" attitude.
Sean Murray Effect.
Samsies.
This is so sweet - so nice to have a developer put in literally 3+ Years of free content... - Mark
putting it on the wish list
Honestly!!! It's so generous of them so offer these free DLCs when they really really don't have too. I can't wait to see their next amazing game! These guys are FANTASTIC and I am 1000% buying this game this weekend!!

The developers consistently working on the game to make it the best they can is commendable. Definitely a good time to pick it up now.
These devs are amazing. Acknowledging your game is, well, pants, and then putting in literal years of work to improve it demands mad respect!
Standing ovation for the developers for supporting this! Thank you SwitchUp for covering this.
Oh wow, super cool support from the Devs here. I bought Baldo physically ages ago and am still trying to get round to firing it up. Really nice to see it's in an even better state when I am ready to pick it up!
lol what made you wanna buy it physical when you didnt even wanna start playing it? 😬 or you just buy everything physical?
I have been waiting on this update for so long! Thank y'all so much... This game has always looked like a must have to me
Yeah they have done great work. Mark

It looks lovely now, and I'm definitely getting it. Thank you for chronicling this redemption story.
I can’t wait to try this one!! Thanks so much for covering it. Looks like a beautiful game. So nice of them to do this!
Oh wow. I wasn't expecting this. Totally fair play to them. They have turned it around completely. I'd totally love to play this *wink*
IKR really impressive! Mark
I love seeing a redemption story. I'm glad the team could fulfill their version! I definitely want to give this game a try now. Looks gorgeous.
refreshing to hear how committed these devs are to their game after all this time. i've been excited about this game since it was revealed but heard all the lackluster opinions of it and cautiously avoided it in hopes it would get patched. It almost brings a tear to your eye! Full respect to the studio for the perseverance
Yeah for sure - it’s so rare these days. Mark
It's the minimum they could do after releasing a completely broken game
7:21 I hope most of us are alive by 2060 to get to play there next game...

I've never played an old school Zelda game so I have no preconceived notions so this should be a good time!
I really like when you return to older games to see how it changed, but this one in particular felt very touching.
I've been tracking this game for a while, seeing the updates and admiring the work the Devs have put into it. It's lovely to see and clearly a game they wanted to do justice too. Love that SwitchUp have really taken this game to their hearts and brought it to people attention👍
Had my eye on Baldo for a while now - this might be my next pickup. Thanks for the video guys.
I really need to get around to buying this one. It seems right up my street.
I picked this one up a few weeks ago because of how gorgeous it looked; now I'm also a fan of the team and their dedication!
Wahey! I couldn't be happier about this, so glad to see a great game reach it's full potential.
I actually won a copy of it from this very channel (thanks again!) and it's a perfect time to revisit it
Well done Naps Team x
How was the main campaign? Are some of the puzzles as infuriating and frustrating as they say? Even after the patches of course.
I remember I was very intrigued about this game and with everything going on back then I ended up not getting it. After watching this review it back back the magic 😮. We’ve been blessed with all these amazing games. Thank you for reviewing

This is awesome. Im glad that the game ended up being good. I was holding off to buying it but I might actually play it finally! Thanks team, awesome video as always!
It doesn't look any good to me aside from ikts visuals

This is the definition of going “above and beyond”. The game looks GORGEOUS!
What a gem of a game. You can tell the devs really put love into it. Sadly, I no longer own the game anymore, but after this new content I will definitely be picking this up again!
Super cool! Might actually pick up the game now, looks to be in a much better state now
Amazing redemption arc and love seeing this finale. Bravo!

Ideal, I was only just looking at this on the e-shop and was wondering if was any good. Seriously tempted now.
It’s well worth that price. Mark
I think you guys are psychic! I was looking at picking this up today. Keep up the great videos 💎
I've seen this game on store shelves, but didn't know anything about it. Seeing the game in action, I think it looks amazing!
Been wanting to pick this up for a bit. Now I REALLY want to pick it up. Well done by the devs!
That Studio Ghibli style always catches me! It recaptures a feeling of simpler times for me. Looking forward to give Baldo a shot in the near future!
I was interested in this game when it was first announced. The reviews starting the game had many issues stopped me from buying it. Now that I've heard it's the great game I always thought it could be, I finally bought it. Thank you to the developers for not leaving it a broken game.

It's great that the devs polished the game since its rough launch. A big respect for them. I'll be supporting their future project.❤
The art style is super lush isn't it?! Thanks Devs
I'm so happy that they've put in the work to turn their game around. That's dedication! Can't wait to finally play it.
I've always wanted to try Baldo! I love the art style. And with the new update, it looks like its running great now!
I’ve always wanted to play this game, I absolutely loved the look of it and I’m a huge Zelda fan. Not to mention this would look beautiful on the switch and cozy to play:)
I can’t wait to have the chance to play, hopefully I’ll get the chance soon, but I’ve fallen on some super difficult times. Trying to stay positive so thanks for this vid! I love hearing about the game progressing!
This sounds amazing, I'll have to add it to the wishlist!
I may be wrong, but I feel like Baldo spawned the “All Patched Up” series and for that I will always be grateful 😂
So good to see this in good shape. One of the best looking games out there and now all fixed with extra content. Take my money!
Keeps sounding better and better!
I’m actually just really happy. I was so bummed out when it came out and the reviews were so bad. I waited forever for it. But now I’m for sure getting it.
Beautiful well done, I’m happy seem how far this game went from zero to this.
I've actually never heard of this before you guys posted on it recently. I definitely need to check it out it looks great!
It's such a treat to continue to see new gems release on switch. Even in it's later years it's such a satisfying system.
You have to respect a dev that doesn’t cut and run from their game! Thanks for covering this guys!
We really saw a rock turn into a diamond, great job to the developers!!!
I hope they make a Baldo 2 but definitely wait until the exact right time to release it.
This has made me super tempted, looks like that backlog is about to get longer!
I absolutely love Studio Ghibli, this really does look like it the ultimate tribute. Definitely one I’ll pick up at some point.
Man this is awesome. So impressed that not only did the patch the crap out of their game well after release but put out an expansions worth of content for free!
Love how you’ve continued to believe and cover this game despite the initial release!
Still haven’t gotten around to pick this one up because of backlog, but this video definitely makes me want to just go ahead 😁
Thanks for the continuous coverage and thanks to the developers for continuing working on the game!
I've purposely waited to buy Baldo to give it time to get some updates under its belt. I REALLY want to finally play it now :)😊
This looks absolutely adorable. I'm glad that on newer systems developers who have a passion for what they've created can see their vision played out through updates.
I would love to play this, at this point is a masterpiece. Always SwitchUp!!!
Glad to hear they're fixing this up because it really looked to have so much potential.
I bought BALDO today on my PS5, this video helped with the decision!
(It helps that the game looks similar to Ni No Kuni since I loved those games 🤣)
Love when devs stick with their game through difficulties. I was impressed by this at first but was hesitant until they worked out the kinks, looks like it’s well worth the purchase price now
Nice to know this game has come around full circle. Good on the devs! 😊
AWESOME! I amTOTALLY buying this game now! Super excited! Thanks SwitchUp!❤
Hey yall, hope all is well. This is great. Definitely appreciate the devs doing this.
This game was on my radar for so long then I kinda just forgot about it, thanks for jogging my memory!

Awesome of the devs to do all of this, hope the studio succeeds we need more like this :)
Being a massive Zelda fan with a daughter who is a massive Ghibli fan, I always thought that Baldo looked like a perfect game for us to play through together.
The initial reception put me off, but maybe now is the time to take the leap.
Big respect to the team for sticking with it.
I have the physical version. Thanks for all the updates Mark and I look forward to playing it again.
Really got me interested, think this may be my next game after Sea of Stars
I was so hyped when this was announced then incredibly disappointed when I heard about how the release version was. I'm so glad it's finally been finished and can't wait to get it now.
Hopefully they can get their next game to this kind of state before release.
Pleasantly surprised. A couple years ago a forum post from the devs seemed to indicate that since you could complete the game, the updates were done. Seversl major updates since then. 👍👍
Baldo-ver about their dedication to their game. I've never played any from the series but it gives me a mix of old and new rpg nostalgia
