Psiky Or not You'll be fine. totally believe me. The locals are friendly towards each other and newcomers. There is always someone willing to help be it Chinese or not. Everyone helps each other in Nanjing. However just don't say something complimenting the Japanese as there were some very nasty atrocities occurred in WW2. Other than that hope you work hard in Nanjing and if you have time you should visit restraints and the Central City areas at night. The nightlife is so lively that crime rates are very very low. Good Luck in Nanjing!
