I like that Spoon didn't say a word about anyone or anything after she got fired from the Sky. That's what I call class. Now she's coaching for Unrivaled. Way to go T-spoon! 👏🏾🎉🥳
You couldn't have said that any better as many legends of the game as possible should be employed in the league even if it's just as marketing ambassadors
Geneva you be dropping that tea while it's still piping hot! Did you forget that Maybrey wouldn't pass to AR when she was open? And kept throwing the ball away to the opposing team ?
In case you’re interested in learning more about Unrivaled, I just watched a podcast on the RUclips channel “Pablo Torre Finds Out” (which is probably the best sports business podcast) that is titled “Is Caitlin Clark Playing in Another League”. The podcast includes John Skipper, who is the former president of ESPN and chief advisor to Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, and the Unrivaled CEO. Some of key takeaways include i) their reasoning to hold the games in a small ‘arena’ vs a bigger stadium (reason being the same reason sports stadiums are moving to smaller capacities in order to get the best viewing angles for the most important audience, which is the tv audience because broadcast rights deals are the real moneymakers for leagues-it’s not gate in person revenues) and ii) they are still under negotiations to potentially strike a deal with Caitlin Clark as we speak (may or may not happen of course). Highly recommend if you want to understand the business aspects of Unrivaled from one of the key decision makers himself. The Unrivaled content starts at around the 20 minute mark.
Phil Handy.. Lebron James personal coach… Goood business move by Unrivaled to add him as a coach. Might get a future endorser on the backend. Lebron does wanna own a sports team. 👀
That's the purpose of 3X3:full court the person that invented the concept call the game X-ray designed to expose skill faws and develop players positional skills
ACL tears are a 9 month to 1 year recovery. She got injured in June, so even her best case scenario of return isn’t until after the league is finished. There’s almost a 0% chance she plays in this season of the league.
Yes it will, because it will be at peace and fans that know basketball will support it, we don't need Clark, your of the rest of that bs demonic fanbase

@@Ice-c-o8q Definitely taught me a lesson. I won’t bash the military too bad when I get out 🤣.
I'm so happy for tspoon!!
I'm happy for her honestly
Happy for Coach spoon
Happy for TSpoon teaching basketball is her kife devekoping players is her calling.
I'm happy for TSpoon.
I wonder if TSpoon & Angel will be on the same team?
I'm glad TSpoon is coaching again, but I don't want her coaching angel.
@@unknownx7252it wasn’t Angel it was Dana Evans, diamond deshields, & Isabelle Harrison complained a lot in the Sky locker room
@troyhall4039 I know Angel didn't complain, I just feel she catered to Angel instead of coaching her.
Maybe Angel will lead Unrivaled in rebounds if Spoon is her coach
@steelcurtain271 That's why I don't want her coaching, Angel.
I think TSpoon will do well there.
Unrivaled names it’s 6 coaches and Teresa Weatherspoon is one of those because the Unrivaled Basketball league recognizes talent.

That’s exactly why I wouldn’t play unrivaled.
?
My choice of 6 players on Angel's team is:
Angel
Napheesa
Arike
Satou
Rickea
Dijonai
Teams wont be that stacked
Darrell knock it off they want the talent spread out as much as possible 😁

Unrivaled is a 3X3 format, most of the players & coaches will be learning on the job.
That's the purpose of 3X3:full court the person that invented the concept call the game X-ray designed to expose skill faws and develop players positional skills
@@politicallil7060 Still a new format for most of the players & coaches. Court size. shot clock etc - a different game.
I hope Cameron Brink gets picked, but i won't know if she is fully-healed from that ACL injury

@SinisterAristotle ok thanks for clearing that up
Hopefully Spoon will control her players and not allow flagrant fouls again.
Won’t be as big without Clark
Don't matter at least it will be peaceful
The girl said no wasn't like she wasn't invited she doesn't want anything to be bigger than her I get it
Its ok....She don't have be involved in every single thing
