I faced similar issue as you, damage on build is decent but it's kinda hard picking people out from backline if you don't have your ult up..but anyway, good game as always!

Sure! It's a little hard sometimes to get longer vids and after trying a few times I realised my Shyvana jungle is not very good xD maybe if we were able to run it top we could take ghost and flash which would make it easier for sure!

This build honestly looks like ultimate bravery.
I support the idea, but I would change the build slightly.
Essence reaver?? For why…manaless champion.
That was reaver could be tal wild arrows. And the RFC could be Navori flickerblades.
And now we have a crit build with double burn, and cooldown spam with Navori and our Q.
I agree essence reaver was a poor choice. just skip it and get collector/Liandry's done sooner then go from there.
I appreciate the insight but I did mention in the video that as this was a subscriber request I would honour their build and play with the items that wanted ^^.
I also agreed that the items could be different for sure but it's all for fun at the end of the day so I like to try what subs also like to play :)
It's likely they didn't read the patch that changed ER from a spellblade item to a on hit mana item.

I’ve been a long time build cooker for 15 years.
Personally it’s all about reading and understanding every item, and every champion, and how they synergize together.
Ideas for builds just pop in my head 1000 times a day..
I’ve built just about every item combo on every champ in the game 😂
Following what Milo said, I like to look for unusual ratio's on champs and play around (like having HP scaling on 1 unique ability). This helps to work in unusual items can that work on that specific champ! This particular game was a request from a subscriber so I like to play their requests as well :D

This is almost always where ideas originate.
Champ has a unique scaling on an ability. Like volibear having AD, HP, AP scaling, and even an on hit passive to utilize atk speed.
(Perfect example of a hybrid champ.)
AP shyvana exists simply because someone thought, hey what if….
The other thing is thinking 🤔 hmm what runes can this champ take advantage of?
Like teemo and grasp..
His poison keeps him in combat for a long time, giving you a large window (rather than just 4 seconds) before grasp falls off. And the move speed to get into range for an auto.
Also great at split pushing, so demolish becomes valuable .
