Everyone makes the joke about Doom being the game where you have the boss music, and yet I've never seen anyone dunk harder on bosses than the Devil May Cry community. It's a straight up art form what a lot of you guys do.
I mean, DMC is all about style while Doom is about ripping and tearing. You can't tell me you don't feel boss music when you see Doomguy soloing Icon of Sin whilst dashing around and grappling demons with his meathook.
Silver Bullet is Nero's boss theme, and games like Sonic actually do this pretty often (first example I can think of rn is What I'm Made Of from Sonic Heroes)
Videos like this just make me think, is there just a point in the game where people just start to understand everything and can start pulling sick shit like this?
@@K1llerqueen- I think he meant, a point where people reach when playing the game and starts to be able to be a super badass. I dint reach this level of play but I definitely was able to combo sss consistently with all characters, Dante is still the hardest tho
This is the best dante vs vergil fight ive seen. Its such a nice blend between actually looking cool, sick, and stylish, and mastery of jump cancelling.
I love seeing people do the jump and RG parry. Abusing the s of the jump was the only way a low skilled player like me was able to do an RG-only kill on Vergil back in in DMC3. So when I see people in high level gameplay do it too, even when they don't need to, puts a smile on my face.
I love the aggressive counters you do when Vergil uses summons swords and that combo into Summon Sword Dante juggle for the Balrog Real Impact!? Fuckin' dirty!

Like switches from sword to dagger spear gun greatsword bow gloves staff etc. But it would be like 500 weapons. Like in this game but widden the weapons to like 500 and all are used.
