I think some disciples of Christ visited these areas but due to time geographical boundaries and language Nd cultural boundaries things got confused and mixed up.

Who knows? Maybe that’s why so many Hindus historically have often had a tendency to be more likely to convert to Christianity at a much higher rate than the other religions in India (Islam, Buddhism, Sikh, Jain Dharma etc.) even to this very day. If... and that’s a big IF that Jesus taught in India and I must confess I have my doubts but hypothetically speaking if he did teach in India as a kind of “warm up” before the “main event” if you will, then maybe the growth of Christianity in India reflects that influence and perhaps even a subconscious sense that his feet once trod upon their very land. Ya never know. Though now that I think about it, there is a another much more likely possibility. Jesus‘s disciple Thomas, better known by his infamous nickname “Doubting Thomas” despite being the one who had doubted Jesus early on would go on to gain the self-confidence to be one of Jesus‘s most courageous disciples and would eventually go on to be the very first Christian in history to bring the gospel of his Lord and Savior to India. And having traveled all the way there, he would in a twist of irony, end up selflessly sacrificing his own life, not unlike his beloved master had before him.

I read a book called the lost years of Jesus that talked about a lot of this . I kind of like how there is so much mystery surrounding him . I believe he is who he says he was , and not many ppl stay legends for this long

Jesus said himself "ye are sons of god" Bhuddist monks have records of Jesus learning with them, it is no doubt where he developed sidhi and the ability to heal. If Jesus didn't travel and interacted with many people from diverse ethnicities and religions, I'd be quite disappointed. Infinite human curiosity sounds to me a very God-like characteristic. It makes more sense that He traveled and studied abroad than Him staying home while people of his own age were traveling, especially for a person who attempted to reform judaism to the point that He actually became the source of various other religions, spiritual and social movements.
How do you come to that conclusion of him being who he was?

I’ve been to Shingo to visit the Japanese “grave of christ”. It is a weird, charming little place. It’s intriguing to learn about the lore of their version of the life of Jesus, plus the little museum there also has a lot of neat artifacts from throughout Shingo’s history.
That “grave of christ” has been proven to be fake.

@@pug9431he’s likely talking about the apocryphal texts. These are a large amount of writings that’s some consider to be holy scripture, and most don’t.
You’ll have to do your research and make your own opinions. But your best bet is to get a completely comprehensive book of apocryphal texts. It’s about as thick as the Bible. The version I have is called “the other Bible”
Some of these books were actually in the bible up to the 1600’s and even then we’re in there in the apocryphal section. By that time, they were no longer considered canon.
Within these apocryphal books are:
-a continuation of Adam and Eve, telling their lives after being banished from the garden of Eden
-stories of Jesus Christ in other parts of his life (infancy and others)
-other psalms and wisdoms and letters that were found throughout even recent history. The Dead Sea scrolls are a great example of something that is apocryphal and clearly Christian, but may not be genuinely holy scripture.

They didn't record the early life because Greko-Roman historians didn't usually track the early life of a historical person, they usually start when the protagonist starts his main journey of teaching etc. Luke and Matthew only have his childhood in them, because that was important for them for fullfilled prophecies. Probably nothing too crazy happened before Jesus picking disciples.
All stories of Jesus not dying and instead returning in secret to somewhere are obviously folklore.

It could honestly also be demonic influence. The Bible warns us of angels coming preaching a different message and interestingly a lot of historic examples date Jesus as not having died and instead ending up either raised to heaven or living out on earth. None of which seem to date back before 1500 years (most in fact tend to appear in that period).

Great job on telling the story about Jesus's 18 year gap of history from the Bible and what possibly might have happened. But there was one possible
error made when you compared the two ideologies of Christianity and Buddhism. At 38:40 you state that Jesus taught his followers to always be "good and never evil", and that Siddartha encouraged his disciples to seek "the middle path between these two extremes". The extremes Siddartha was referring to was not between "good and evil" but between "selflessness and self service". While you could certainly place "good and evil" under the umbrella of ""selflessness and self service", there is a big distinction between the actual evil of rape, murder and theft and not wearing beggars clothes or feeding yourself fully. Living a balanced life between the self and selflessness was what he was advocating for. Unless I'm completely misunderstanding his message, he didn't consider "the middle path" as being "just a little bit evil" or "not fully good".
I really feel and know that there are no differences between Buddhism and Christianity nor even Hinduism…. The moment person labels or judges the thing the tao or god in the thing gets disappeared that is why we must understand that it is illusion of manifested world and there is way beyond the labels and form … god is formless, god is no thing as we are no thing we are god himself

The most simple and conclusive answer is, he was doing a regular jewish familiar life studing torah in a galilean synagoge, visiting other familiars like Jhon the Baptist, working and taking care of his family, remember he was first born, that means responsability, he did not need to travel to learn teaching that actually are in jewish ancients books like the Tanaj.
He also didnt need to learn teachings of anything because He is GOD.

This 18-year gap is arguably one of the best things going for Christ. He waits, not out of desperation, but for His time, "for his time had not yet come". He knew that the Father wanted him to preach only in his 30s, and he waited. One of the hardest things for the most devout to consider is that Jesus probably did *nothing* in between this time gap, as he only started his ministry to show people what His Father was doing. It shows that he knew when he was needed.
Reminds me of the scene from Man of Steel when Pa Kent is helping people out of the tornado, and Clark (Superman) is just about to step in and save the day, but his dad stops him with a hand gesture as to say "people are not ready for you yet. Your time has not yet come." Its a very messianic message that conveys a sort of foreknowledge-even though he knows he can fix the whole world if He were allowed, he knows that his purpose is specific and should only be used at a certain time. But he waits, allowing for evil to continue in the present, waiting for that specific moment that it could be crushed forever.
Priests had to be of thirty years of age before they could enter the priesthood.

I told a co worker once that I believe in the existence of dinosaurs. She doesn't because they are not mentioned in the Bible. I told her because dinosaurs have nothing to do with our salvation. Truth is God works in mysterious ways. We will never fully understand him, because some of us will try to become Gods ourselves. Remember how the different languages came about? The tower of Babel? But yet when we are kind to one another, we are closer to God then what we think. I believe what the Bible says. Jesus suffered and died, and rose from the grave in three days. God will never permit anyone to add stuff in the Bible. Who knows about the age gap of Jesus's life in the Bible. But God has One son. Not two, or three, or fifthteen. I believe he only has one son to reminds us his incredible love. If breathing life in each and one of us wasn't enough, God gave his Only son for sacrafice for our sins. Jesus paid in his blood, to wash away our sins. Because he Never sinned. God is way way way beyond human. But he applies in us his love, which All humans have potential too developed. And I do believe, even though Jesus answers to his highest superior which is His Father, that somehow, they are one in the same. Otherwise in the book of Genesis, why would the father said "they are trying to be like US", mentioning the betrayal of Adam and Eve eating fruit from the Tree Of Knowledge. God allows evil....for a time. So when his glory comes to save us, we will clearly see the error of our ways. Peace.

The gospels say that he was taken to Egypt where he spent his young years. The gospels also call him Jesus of Nazareth. It is believed by the majority of Christians believe he grew up there. Nazareth was a backwater in the province of Judea. Philip one of the disciples was actually quoted saying can anything good come from Nazareth? Meaning it was such a backwater place that the disciples had a hard time believing that the son of God would grow up in such a backwater as Nazareth. I truly believe that Nazareth was a place even a prodigy like Jesus people wouldn't care to much about cause they were too busy making ends meet. I believe he helped his family with chores whatever they might have been to survive in a backwater town and the the rest of the time he was in prayer. I mean with God as your father your have the best ever father and companion to talk too. How could you possibly get bored with the creator of the universe as your father.

Really enjoyed this video; it's always strange but pleasant to see Glastonbury talked about, as I live in North-East Somerset and have spent a lot of time in Glastonbury. My father spent the last months of his life in a nursing home there, and the story of Jesus visiting Glastonbury as a child is definitely still spoken of there. I lived in Japan for 6 years. And after seeing most of the world, I can tell you with certainty; Japan is indeed a sacred land. If you but listen and feel instead of indulging yourself with modern day society, then you can understand that there is something definitely different. Something ancient, something historical and mystical. It’s refreshing and energizing just existing there. I will forever be jealous of Japanese citizens for being able to be born into that world. The concept of going east makes complete sense to me. Being a holy man wishing to garner the wisdom associated with spirituality during his time, what better place to have been than India/Tibet? The most prominent places of Hinduism and Buddhism were both available.

Agree. Evidence is still disputable, but the reasoning behind is not that far farfetched. Hinduism was already an established religion long even before Christ's time.

Because it’s blasphemous to claim Jesus never died. If Jesus was never crucified, Jesus is in vain. Christ is in vain. It’s literally pointless to assert any other Jesus that does not die on the cross. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, with his stripes we are healed. If there is no resurrection, Jesus is entirely in vain, and no different than any other philosopher or theologian. Reducing him to just a wise man is blasphemy and defeats his purpose entirely and thoroughly.

My friend's mother has a dentist who has a nephew that once visited an ancient temple in the Himalayan mountains. The high priest told him that you are wrong.
I visited Glastonbury for the first time last year. It was amazing seeing the abbey ruins and the thorn tree. I love the lore of the area and it seems to have powerful spiritual energy, from both the druids and the work Joseph did there. Lots of Christianity and goddess worship entertwined. And not to mention there are some tie ins with the legend of King Arthur too. Culturally rich area!

"The Middle Path" comment at minute 39 is not correct. The Buddha was not referring to morality when he talked about "The Middle Way." Instead, it refers to not falling into extreme concepts around "existence" or "non-existence." When it came to morality, the Buddha taught that every evil action would produce negative karma and urged his followers to gather positive karma through kindness, compassion and self-knowledge and -mastery.

I have a question that I’d appreciate anyone to answer, why do so many script writers or presenters insist on stating “quote” “end quote” it’s quite annoying. And why is it only done in American English?
For example it’s .. Jesus said “.. not Jesus said quote:
I only ask this because I tried to listen to an audio book the other day that I was very excited about but couldn’t get halfway through the first chapter because of the amount of times the narrator said “quote, end quote” it was obviously a not with a lot of quotes in it. Just imagine listening to a person that said that at the beginning and end of every second sentence, where as where I’m from when you say someone said something, you know the next thing is what they said.
The same way people say “question” At the beginning of a question.. if you don’t know that it’s a question then your understanding of English is very bad.
His true teachings have so many parallels with aspects of Hermeticism, Buddhism, escenism, Zoarastrianism that it is not a strange theory to believe that he was traveling around, learning from the mystics and Holy men of other cultures at all. In fact it makes the most sense of all. It is also likely that He passed through places like Alexandria, the Center of Knowledge for the known world at the time. And while there he would have guaranteed ran into mystics, Monks, Magi, Shamans, Gurus and Yogis from all over, who themselves also converged upon such a location, to share and spread their teachings.
And at some point it likely dawned on Him that at the very core, the heart of the teachings he was learning about, There was a common theme that kept appearing.
Just as so many others who have spent countless hours diving into the comparitive religions and mystery school teachings.
It is what I call the One TRUE Spiritual Doctrine.
It is what one uncovers as they decipher the allegories and shared symbolism that appears over and over again.
That Love is the Ultimate power in all of creation.. the most powerful force in the universe.
That The creator, the source, The Father.. God... IS love and Light. There is No rules, no punishment, no judgement.. just forgiveness for those who ask, and guidance for those who seek it, and Unconditional Love for all as we are ALL, each of us, connected, as each of us are at the essence.. divine sparks of HIS light. We are here to experience, to grow and evolve spiritually, to work towards the goal of Attainment of our Lightbody. Our true form. When we finally achieve The Ultimate In Enlightenment.. and shed the Flesh and resurrect in our Celestial form. No longer needing to incarnate in these avatar meat suits. As we can incarnate on any and all planes of existence, and manifest in any form we wish.
That is when we each become whole.
And that ALL Things have the living Spirit in one stage of spiritual evolution, And All living things are connected, and We are All children of God.
This is the truth at the heart of All major religions, Spiritual Philosophies, mystical teachings.

@@blahblah6497 i dont think there is one true way. The Mystery Schools seem to be present mostly in Western civilizations. Eastern cultures dont seem to require an initiation as such but I could be way off
@@billballinger5622 even the Eastern philosophies are teaching about obtaining the Light Body. That is the Diamond body in Taoism, or Nirvana/ Perfect Body or Rainbow Light body in certain Tibetan Buddhist teachings. I don't remember the name of it in the Hindu teachings, but Sufism also teaches about it.
It is the core of all major religion or theological teachings , even down to most of the Indigenous beliefs and earliest pagan teachings
