“Unlike your bones, enamel doesn't contain any living tissues. Beneath your tooth's enamel, there's a bone-like tissue called dentin, which makes up most of your teeth's structure. It's susceptible to the bacteria that cause tooth sensitivity and cavities. Cementum is present in the next layer.”

So i guess teeth are made with something similar to bones called dentin
Yeah they're not living bone but they're sorta boney growths. Still considered part of the skeletal system. I mean, our outer skin layers aren't living cells either
Well, bones and teeth both contain calcium, but teeth lack the protein collagen that allows bones to mend themselves, and that's why teeth aren't bones.
Not bones, but still part of the skeleton, because eh why not?

You’re correct about not all women being able to breastfeed. It’s actually way more than you would think, and it’s why baby formula is so important, because before that those babies would have just died. It used to just be considered an element of child mortality, so it’s definitely not a new issue.
I don't understand the whole "if you have testicles you shouldn't talk about this subject" thing. This is a medical fact. Some women can't breastfeed. Just like every other biological function; injuries, birth defects, illnesses, all can cause issues with biological function. 14:02 what I think is most funny about this is that statistically, married couples who do not have children are less stressed and happier overall. I don't know if this extends to non-married people without children. I would assume not. We're always taught it's women who instinctively want to be married off and men who don't want to be tied down, which I realize in some cases is actually still true--but science says it's more often the opposite. Men being happier and more fulfilled in commitment, and women preferring their freedom. I wonder if the belief that it was the other way around stems more from religious belief or from more... primitive thoughts of procreation.
@@g.s.651 It's religious belief and also how differently males and females are raised. Females are raised to have everyday life skills and to take care of a household. Many men barely know how to operate a washing machine or load the dishwasher specially in religious and traditional families where they live at home. They are also raised not to show emotions so their only confident is their partner and only that partner encourages them to express themselves which many females are also raised to do. They are also raised to just keep on taking emotional and mental damage which leads to burnouts and depression. For women, this is usually a huge mental burden and tiring labour. That's why women are happier single. The lack of equality mental burden and distribution of labour in a relationship.
I love the "dO YOuR oWn ReSEaRcH" crowd, it's as though people who have spent their lives studying in that particular field hasn't done a single bit of research.

From what I can tell 'habibi' is a difficult thing to explain. Also, to clarify. No. You were not 'required' to get in a line and fire in volleys by any form of law, gentlemen's agreement, or whatever. It's that, because rifles/muskets of the time were smoothbores, their long-range accuracy was crud. So if you wanted to hit people at range the best thing to do was to get everyone all lined up and fire off a volley to just pepper the area in bullets and hope at least one of them would hit. Part of the reason the Civil War was so deadly was because they were still using tactics that assumed smoothbores at a time when that was no longer the case resulting in a lot of people in exposed, open, formations leaving them very exposed; which wouldn't have been too much of an issue in 1776 (relatively speaking) but was just BEGGING for death in 1865.
Never learned this in school. Our elementary school teacher told us that the British preferred to fight in lines because they loved being formal and traditional 💀.
Smoothbored shotguns are by definition not rifles.
5:46 And there's a reason why our ancestors had 13 children. Because at time our bodies don't produce enough milk or even milk at all. When that happened the child would have died. Mortality rate was very high back then and it didn't start to get better until better medicine along with production of new stuff during the early 2000's to mid 2000's ( which is 1900 - 1960 ) even after that we continued the grow to where we are now. @@Dr_Lovekaffe i was about to say something similar but i just assumed they were joking
1:40 It's a isosceles triangle, with the visibly shorter side having 8000 km, but the visibly longer (and mathematically equal) sides measuring at 8000 km and 16000 km, so something went pretty poorly.
edit: 2:10 The guy saying teeth are not bones is right. google it up.
I think they are unaware of the fact that 2D projections (like Mercator) of the 3D Earth cause distortions in size the further away you are from the equator.
Mapping the surface of a sphere to a flat square/rectangle introduces distortions. On the (most common one) Mercator projection, land masses near the poles (top and bottom of the map alls appear as much larger than same (real size) area near the equator, mainly by stretching the east/west direction, which is why the more horisontal legs of the triangle look longer than the near vertical line in Africa...
17:33 Nothing! Is more passive agressive than discrediting a moron by purposely calling this guy Mr instead of Dr XD

I'm a woman and I know for a fact most women don't always have small feet 3:12
13:22 Reminds me of when I tutored people in English. One adult male student seemed to take a fancy to me. He started repeating at all our sessions that “all single people commit suicide!” Um…
to the blind rubix cube problem the answer is yes they could its called an algorithm people solve rubix cubes blindfolded all the time so as long as you know the algorithm it doesnt really matter if you could see it (although you might need a person with sight to verify it)
0:00 I'm gonna sound dumb for saying this, but I totally agree.
What I think (and hope) he meant is that it doesn't matter if you're Christian or atheist to them. Essentially the "religion blind" spirit because different religions coming into contact often cause conflict, which can be avoided if we stopped making religion-based judgement of people.

People need to learn the difference between "Impossible" and "Improbable".
Just because its statisticaly impossible, doesnt mean it actually is [impossible].
And also in no way science suggests there are completely funciontal eucharyotic cells just popping into existence. Evolution was working waaaaaaaay before the first cell.
improbable means that it doesn't have a great possibility for something to happen whereas impossible is something that cannot happen regardless of possibilities, am I wrong? that's what I can remember
1:31 Basically what the fb dude is trying to say is that the lengths are different even though the lines are the same or vice versa. However, the facepalm here is the fact that that is a flat map trying to project a globe earth and so stuff is distorted and a lot of people know this.
I was not expecting such a deep cut reference to my childhood with that “reality check” bit. Holt shit, that opening brings back memories lmao-
2:15 no your teeth aren’t bones and don’t worry I’m just as confused as you are
0:09 is not incorrect at all. Yes, we can digest fiber, but not the heavy duty fiber that cows can. The plant fibers and feedstuffs they're talking about are things like the straw from wheat after the grains have been separated out and corn stalks after the corn has been removed. It's the farming byproducts that we don't and/or can't eat that are a large part of their diet. Stalks, straw, leaves, sugar cane pulp after the juice is extracted, etc.
“Teeth are bones”
*Dentist: *cleans bones*
The "Reality Check Through The Skull" reference truly made my day
Same. Banger song and what got me into beatsaber
Whoever thought of that, whoever the editor is that did that, is a freaking genius
That one twitter post where the guy said that the woman wasn't really happy because they haven't had kids was just... so creepy.
Bro said that he'd impregnate her... yes hello, police? Yeah he's back again
"You need children to be happy" "you need a husband or wife to be happy"
The fuck I do. All I need is myself and the people I choose to surround myself with. Those people can be whomever I want, and nobody gets to decide what will make me happy.
8:06 "well regulated" in the 1700s meant "proper working order." As in "For a militia to work properly, they need to be able to have weapons."
Well regulated means with proper regulation, now and in 1700. Regulation: From latin regula (rule).
@@juanausensi499 Dude, "well regulated" is a phrase itself. The phrase was in common use in the 1700s and 1800s to mean "proper working order" as evidenced by the literal dictionary definition from the time and by surrounding writing from the time.
Calling someone a "smart cookie" is not saying they are a pastry of high intelligence. I would be remiss in referring to you with such a term if you truly believe that language interpretation does not change over time.
@@CaptNovogrod I know how Jack N. Rakove interpreted that passage. But i failed to find any source for his claim, or any example of that phrase with that meaning in the suitable period. I'm also familior how some US constitutonalists have interpreted the amendment.
Probably, guessing what the makers of the amendment had in their minds it's impossible.
But we can agree that 'individual civilians owning guns' is not a 'well regulated militia' either meaning.
@@juanausensi499 it's pretty easy to guess what they intended when you actually read what they said during the constitutional convention in 1788.
"I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them." ~George Mason (at the constitutional convention in 1788)
Or when you read the writings of other founding fathers such as a little known person by the name of Thomas Jefferson who said "The constitution of most of our states (and The United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that is their right and duty to at all times be armed."
@@CaptNovogrod I'm not criticising the right of bearing arms, or that militias are made of civilians and weapons. I'm saying that 'well regulated militia', even in it's meaning, 'ready to use', needs more than just that. An unorganised milita is as useless and dangerous as an unorganised army (or maybe even more).
2:00 (im not a dentist, just 14yo kid)so I googled it and 3 top results said the same thing, didn't have the patience to scroll more down. b4 that I toad that teeth are bone. also it's the first time googling teeth so I shouldn't even be in bubble.
Teeth and bones look similar and share some commonalities, including being the hardest substances in your body. But teeth aren't actually bone. This misconception might arise from the fact that both contain calcium. More than 99 percent of your body's calcium can be found in your bones and teeth.
I fucking love whoever edited this video, Reality Check through the Skull slaps
Why do guys ask bra size when they don't know how bra sizes are measured? What do they gain from such information?
Well, uh...I'm not certain. I don't need to wear them yet, so I'll figure it out, I guess
Idk. Maybe if it sounds big then it turns them on more? Not sure how you get anything from "B cup" though

in my philosophy classes, I was told if its old enough that theres no evidences to refute it, it must be true... pure bs
It baffles me how so many people manage to apply the whole concept of burden of proof backward.

1:00 WTH IS THAT LAUGH LOL IT MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD I ALMOST DIED
The thing with "Do your own research" is I believe there is a culture gap involved. A lot of people who were kids/teens after the internet became a thing had at least a small portion of "Here's how to tell if a website is a credible source" at some point in school. I think I was somewhere 3-5th grade for it. Older people who didn't have that are like "OK! I will research!" But something I'd know as a false article, they might believe as fact due to not having that understanding.
I love that reference to reality check through the skull.
Just hearing the bells at 16:30 just made me have Vietnam flashbacks lol.
0:20 I the point is 1.cow food doesn't come from food waste it is specifically planted to feed cows and 2. A loooooot of a beef cow diet is corn (in places like the US) or soybean (in places like here in Brazil) there's a reason grass fed beef is specified, because usually it's not grass fed
10:05 If you were confused, 37.8C is most definitely not normal body temp, it is 37. IDK what the other guy was on (making fun of a commenter because he agreed with him?)
1:35 No, that's not how Pythagoras theorem works
Ikr that's not even a right triangle
1:41 So you know a^2 + b^2 = c^2... Sorry to bring it back up, but it's hilarious to me that they were trying to prove the flat Earth, and and instead proved mathematically that the Equator bulges.
TLDR: Flat Earthers proved the Earth isn't flat again.
8:20 When the Constitution was written, "well-regulated" did not mean "a bunch of rules to ensure control." Why is it that people who hate guns are also incapable of grasping how language works?
The following are taken from the Oxford English Dictionary, and bracket in time the writing of the 2nd amendment:
1709: "If a liberal Education has formed in us well-regulated Appetites and worthy Inclinations."
1714: "The practice of all well-regulated courts of justice in the world."
1812: "The equation of time ... is the adjustment of the difference of time as shown by a well-regulated clock and a true sun dial."
1848: "A remissness for which I am sure every well-regulated person will blame the Mayor."
1862: "It appeared to her well-regulated mind, like a clandestine proceeding."
1894: "The newspaper, a never wanting adjunct to every well-regulated American embryo city."
The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected.
Love the gun Love the dead.
As an Australian, the reason we got rid of auto and semi auto guns except the ones you ship Johnny Ibrahim (has proof himself NRA do) was because unlike Murica we didn't want Julian Knight or Martin Bryant again.
@@havanadaurcy1321 Thank you for proving my point.
9:13 it's 1 AM and I'm sleep deprived, so I googled it, nearly 4,000 people are hospitalized for foreign objects in their rectum annually and nearly 300 people die from it. Higher than I expected. Still very low compared to annual gun deaths
2:37 Sounds like the plot/backstory of an animated child-friendly fantasy film from the mid-to-late 80's in a style half way between Don Bluth and early anime/Ghibli.
Apparently it's literally from the junglebook

Our ancestors also used goat's milk in some cases because goats homogenize their milk internally, and you milk it homogenized versus cow's milk which needs to be processed to be safe for consumption.

2:10 the thing that makes this worse is that the guy who took screnshot upvoted the guy who was wrong
I think one of the scary things is that the person that posted that was defending the fact that teeth are not bones, showed by the upvotes to the person who thought they weren't and the downvote to the person who was right.
