@14:00, I disagree with your assessment. Eichmann did not say "...we shall meet again (in the afterlife)", he said "...we shall meet again." He was speaking metaphorically, casting himself as the personificstion of evil, and suggesting to his audience that they might be killing him, but they would never be able to kill the evil thst he represents. To me, it seems that Eichmann was quite aware of how evil his deeds were, and how evil he was...and he did not care.
The banality of evil describes the critic’s comments that you don’t understand. She in fact was trying to show it only takes a normal person in an authoritarian system to do evil, even if they are just trying to do good according to the system. No extraordinary evil intent is required.
Attempts to , philosophically and legally , explain what genocide is ? That's interesting. Did it break any ground in understanding , either philosophically or legally , as far as you're concerned? How do ...?
