Let me share my experience about family member in the state. As much as possible, be truthful. Wisdom is profitable to direct in that aspect. So on my DS - 160 form, I said I don't have a relatives in the US meanwhile my uncle is a lecturer in my school.. My Visa was approved and I got in here. But I had serious issues with my school because they went back to check my DS -160 form. It almost cost me my admission. Thank God for God's mercy. So as much as possible be truthful and be wise in your dealings.
Sorry for dropping this in bit. You just brought the thoughts back. And it so fresh lol Iike yesterday. I also learnt from you too before I went for my interview. Prayer is another important thing, pray very well o. There is a part of the scriptures that say the heart of kings are in God's hands he directs it where ever he likes. Like Tessy said, in Lagos, you're seeing everything going on. The officer that you think is nice and approving people's visa it might get to your turn and something might go wrong. So pray very well o. Call upon what you call upon that answers you. Some officers are mean, some are nice. Not with standing, pray o.
I think another thing you forgot to include is that "don't talk too much" I did my interview in Lagos too. I remember a guy before me 😂😂😂. I wish I can send VN😂😂😂. Immediately he got to the Visa officer, he said "sir I want to say something, I got rejected in Abuja because of so so so" immediately I knew he was going to be rejected 😂😂😂😂. I was like who asked you!!!! Lol and behold he was rejected. Don't talk too much, so you don't say what might cost you your visa been approved. Don't over dress too!!! This particular guy was so over dressed ehn. All eyes on him😂😂 Also, show some enthusiasm, don't behave like you're forced to go and study. A lady before me also got denied because of that. She was so non challant about it. Overall, Visa interview is interesting if you pratice well and know what to say.
This video came in at the right time as I av just gotten admitted into the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) even though I'm still waiting to hear from the 3 other schools I applied to. Please do you anything about UIS? To be honest I've really learnt so much from your channel even though this is my first time commenting. I see all you do and I wanna say a big thank you 🙏 I'll be waiting for part 2.
