Ingredients
Potato, medium - 6-7 nos
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Dry Red Chilli - 3 nos
Heeng - ½ tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Onion, medium - 3 nos
Turmeric - ¾ tsp
Cumin powder - 1½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1½ tbsp
Black salt - ½ tsp
Chaat masala - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Kasoori Methi Powder - 2 pinches
Chilli Flakes - 2 tsp
Coriander chopped - handful

My mummy (who is 91 now ) used to make this . This is used when there is nothing i.e. no subji then . Also it used to make in fast yeah the recipe is different for fast.

My late mom used to make for our lunch boxes. And they were favourite not only among our friends but some school teachers too. God bless her soul and thank you for taking me down the memory lane❤️

I made the same randonly one day, But i added jeera and musturd seeds in oil, red chilli , hing powder salt that's it. Withing 10 minutes ready. So yummy and quick and i ate with roti!!

Hmare ghar pe bhi ye sabzi bnti hai ..but without onion. One tip from my side jab aap oil me aloo dale before that add some white til in oil ye aapki sabzi ko aur zyada tasty bnayegi... believe me 😊

I make this with baby potatoes without peeling them and use mixed herbs some crushed pepper. And sometimes with Indian spices like turmeric coriander powder fennel powder amchur red chilli powder. Both ways is yumm. But just make it just before you want to eat . Reheating spoils the taste

A great n simple recipe for a fast n lazy day. But what ive found out after years, is, that the pan matters. With a suitable/good pan, it cooks faster n doesn´t start to stick on the pan. Now itz so different...uff!
