Fans need to stop messing with AJ AJ shouldn’t have to always defend himself from fans
He does things that are attention-seeking, but subtle enough that he can plausibly deny that they are for attention and then play "woe is me, everyone thinks I'm a diva." He could've posted the follow-up tweet about admiring Tom Brady IMMEDIATELY with the profile picture change, but instead waits a little bit so people freak out. Same thing applies to his refusal to talk last year - it would have been so easily defused, but he let the tension build. He's an annoying type of narcissist.

@@alexislopez8674 I agree that he's pretty much harmless, and I'd rather have him. But I don't like when people fall for his shtick or start slamming fans when he's doing this stuff intentionally.
@JackFlash771 isn't wrong. I want AJ to be here for a long time. He's an unbelievable talent. But he either really loves the attention and he does this crap on purpose to stir the pot...or he's naive as f*ck, bordering on stupid. I really don't think he's an idiot, so he must just enjoy stirring people up - which kinda makes him an @$$hole. A couple months ago he was fanning the trade rumor flames. He went on Kay Adams's show...didn't deny it. He went on another show...didn't deny it. Then he goes on WIP and blames the media for making him a victim when he could have EASILY shut down the speculation before it ever started. He didn't. Instead he made it worse. At this point I think that's just what he does and it's a major pain in the @$$.

Jalen Hurts Press Conference is EXACTLY what I want to hear from our QB. Setting the tone not only as a leader but for the FRANCHISE is what all the great quarterbacks do.
In regards to the first round of the draft, I have my eyes on Bowers, Latu, DeJean, Fautanu, and Latham. All have such a high ceiling, fit the Eagles culture/system, and would be a homerun selection. I know the OL/DL is not the sexy pick but good ol' Chip Kelly once said, "Big people beat up small people." Replacing Reddick with the unknown of Nolan Smith & Bryce Huff, and Sweat on a one year deal (wear&tear on his knee could lead to him gone next year). Three picks in the first 53 selections. Excited to see Howie work his magic on Draft night.

I think Jalen's comment about his being the one to set the culture is in part bc he takes the (fairly recent) criticism of him not being a vocal leader and the questions about whether there will be a leadership vacuum since Kelce and Fletch retired as an affront.
Also, Dave, Roob, and Barrett mentioned "not if I'm Howie" several times. But since Howie surprised us by signing Saquon to a big contract, isn't it possible that Howie will surprise us in the draft?

why doesn’t the qb just set the language to what they want? if that’s actually the biggest hurdle it seems logical to let the guy you pay more and expect to be there longer set the foundation. coaches should have to adapt to players not the other way around.

If they really want Lane’s replacement this draft, take that guy on day 2.
I look at what they did in 2021. Take an already proven player in D. Smith and look at the results they got. They need to follow the same method and go with the guy who dominated in college.

Barrett and Roob really need their lithium. Guyton? Mims? potential busts. take proven players. maybe Howie takes their advice and that's the reason he fails in the first round especially when picking in the latter half of the first round.
Roob didn't take his meds today. Landon at center? the delusions continue.
Landon would probably be better than Jurgens in terms of setting the protections, but he’s way to big for Jalen to see around and he’s one of the best LG’s in the NFL, he’s not leaving that spot.

They need a Tackle and another Edge. Lane is getting older and I don't think they are comfortable at Edge at the moment. It would make sense to draft another young, relatively cheap guy to help replace Reddick.
