If you are the user of Camtasia and want to find out what are the quickest ways to improve your videos while editing then this video is for you. In this video you will learn some tricks and tips which will push your knowledge about the tool up-to another level. Russell Stannard is the recommended by TechSmith trainer for Camtasia and has almost 20 years experience in using the technology. In fact he has been using Camtasia for his own videos for his RUclips Channel.
He will began with tips on how to group and ungroup media together. This will help you to organise the objects you are working with to keep them for example in one file rather than separated on the time line. It can save you a lot of time and you will find that it help to work on the timeline much easier.
Then you can find out about a great feature like 'Select all media on a track' which allows you to add an extra content onto all the media at the same time rather than adding them individually. A fantastic way to save on time and it works particularly well with the cursor. There are other really useful things you can do, like renaming your tracks or changing the behaviours of the objects in one go.
You can also lock any channel that you are not doing any changes at in a very simple and quick way. Once the channel is locked you cant do any changes or add anything to it. It is important feature if you have on the track another media that you want to work on and want to keep these separate from the other medias.
You can also resize the tracks you have created where by maximising it will give you loads of more control for example when adding an audio making it more accurate.
There are other really useful things you can do, like renaming your tracks, changing the behaviours of the objects in one go or how to use the library features quickly and effectively.
Finally, Russell will take you through a few tricks you can do when using the green screen effect and tips about how to quickly improve the audio and make it more professional.
Great video by the recommended Camtasia trainer about things you can do when editing a video using Camtasia 2021.

I have 2022 6.8 - when I group things, mostly the first one spans the group, but others in the group don't. I spend an inordinate amount of time ungroup and bringing the others to flush. Is this my issue, or 6.8? (Actually I do have 2023 but I'm letting others contend with what ever bugs they have
The issue you're experiencing with grouped elements not aligning correctly in Camtasia 2022 could be related to the software version, and updating to Camtasia 2023 might resolve this problem.
