In her book, the late Kristi Noem not only brags about killing the family dog, but also a goat. She also talks about staring down Kim Jong Un. She died on or about May 5, 2024. However, some sightings have been reported.
It's a crime for cruelty to animals and since she confessed to killing her dog for no good reason and a goat she should be punished just like any other citizen...

@cottagefarm9799 I agree that it makes no sense for her to apologize. She tells the dog story for a strategic purpose… I believe to show how tough she is that she can make difficult decisions and do difficult things. Makes no sense, especially because she has stated that the dog had not bitten anybody, only attacked farm animals. She had alternatives to pulling out a gun and shooting a young dog. Too late to apologize now. Her story has backfired and shown her true (scary) character.
