At the beginning of a match (on offense) I would target the enemy with your drone, just so you know who you are up against. However, once in play don't scan the enemy. They get the notification that "you have been spotted" they will then either look for a drone that they otherwise wouldn't have thought existed. Or they will simply change position. Use it to spot them, but do not mark them.
Yo Hollow, I have a pretty common tip for you if you play Frost, Place the welcome mat behind a shield or windows. This is useful because the enemy player is forced to jump over it what sometimes can result in a downed enemy.
but u can always aim down whislt jumping and shoot also a tip if ur playing on xbox or ps4 eplace the r3 button with x or A so when u vault u can staright away aim at enemies and have a faster reflex overall
Tbh, I think it's better to place frost traps in areas people like to sit and plant in. Such as on plane, you place one in the kitchen corner where people like to camp on defence and drone on attack.

With Frost you want to put your traps right in front of a window so when they vault in they won't know it's their and they will get trapped and I like to put barbed wire to make it harder to see the traps. And if your using the deployable shield you can put in front of an entrance so they will have to vault over it and you can put a trap on the other side waiting for them. Hollow this is a platinum strat for you that will always help never spot them with drones and never run through the building unless you know that no one is timing because there is a 0.5 second delay from you to stop running and to aim then shoot them just try it out to see if it works.

I may have found a FIX for this. Whenever I went onto my friends list my PS4 would crash. Turn off your PS4, hold down the power button to turn it back on, wait for 2 beeps, that will put your PS4 into safe mode, there you can select the "rebuild database" option and that will take a few minutes. Ever since I've done that a few minutes ago the crashing has stopped. It's perfectly safe and won't wipe anything, I've done it multiple times when I've had random disc eject problems and that's worked PS4 ONLY

Put you frost traps in shadowy locations they are hard to spot amend lay barbed wire over some to disguise them. Put them under the areas that are not barocaded, where they are concealed in the ceilings so as they drop through poof
Hollow never ever ever ever ever ever EVER spot on somebody else's drone that is the most annoying s*** that you can do in this game to somebody without actually causing them physical harm besides castling the doors in room that's by far the most stupid thing you could do in this game. In short yes you are never supposed to spot on anybody's drone but your own because it alerts the enemy that a drone is spotting them and maybe they want their drone placed somewhere so they can see the enemies. Also never mark an enemy on a valkyrie cam because it tells the enemy that they're being watched you want to keep the element of surprise
Hey bro if you want a quick entry through a barricaded entrance, don't hit it 3 times, hit it twice I the middle to make a slit so 2 middle planks are destroyed, after that you can vault through, or if it's a window you can enter by pushing off with your feet then smashing through, both are done by pressing the A button or I think X on the PS4 I'm not sure, anyway I hope this helped you to improve. However in the action phase (the actual round) if you are using your drone and scouting where the enemy is so you can shoot him it is best if you don’t scan him so he doesn’t know you know where he is and you can shoot him before he sees you or knows you know where he is. I hope that made sense and you can use this to your advantage 👍👍😀😀
In prep phase it's fine to spot on drones but in prep if a teammate says don't spot on his drone then don't. also while in the actual round like who ever suggested it to said don't spot on drones just use it to give you information this will be easier for you to do once you know callouts for all maps
the idea is that when you spot on a drone the person sees they are spotted so they will look for the drone to destroy it. the game is all about information and drones, so it’s best to not spot so you can save the drone and use it later in the round. it also is a good idea not to keep the drone in the objective when you know where the objective is. the best thing to do is to leave your drone in the area you plan to enter the building so it can quickly be droned out right before you enter.
I noticed that you think you get the kills when it says it injured but that actually means they're down and can be revived by their teammates so if you see that notification don't necessarily go out of your way to kill them make sure you're in a good position with no other enemies baiting you
