For people looking in Leander: One other thing to ask about when looking at homes is if the water supply comes from the Sandy Creek water plant. Leader was on a boil water notice last summer due to the plant crashing, and when the city got the water plant up and running again, a large portion of the city was on water restrictions for several weeks. The city said the plant cannot keep up with the growth right now. I'm sure they're looking into all options to accomodate growth, but just be aware.

Could you please do a video on Hwy 29 around Oaks-at-san-Gabriel area ( near Leander, Liberty Hill). How is the area there? Is that area a good place to buy a property?
I looked for a while to purchase a home in Leander, I’ve been there for 3 years now in a rental home but definitely could not find an area in Leander with property taxes at 2.15%. I travel for work so I just bit the bullet and moved to burnet county where the taxes are 2.13% and only 20 minutes from Leander. Where exactly are the areas that are at 2.15% tax rate?? Also great video, I had no clue about the Leander Springs!! That will be awesome
in north leander its 2.18% now in willamson county where there is no MUD tax
How can we find which neighborhoods have those lower tax rates, such as 2.15% like you mentioned?

Leander sucks. I grew up in Cedar Park/Leander and it's basically a hick town with super expensive cookie cutter homes. If you like flat, dry, depressing weather, sweltering summers, insane traffic, fast food chains and an overall sucky quality of life, Leander is for you!
So where do you recommend?
so where you a hick..I would think as folks come in the town changes as it gentrifies...not sure about the weather I would think its still overall better then phoenix
