Fox should consider buying the rights to TNA IMPACT! from AXS TV or get MLW off RUclips and put them on their network. Both companies deserve a bigger platform than what they have now.
I think it's way more likely that WWE, or more specifically Endeavor, helps TNA get a better platform in the future. It's already happened in Canada and maybe it could happen in the US too. MLW is more difficult to predict but it'd be great if they found a better home. NWA on the CW app is wasted too. How many people just watch The RUclips Clips because they have their favorite wrestler and only want to see what they do? 5 million people without Nielsen Boxes could be watching AEW a week and they would never know.
AEW should format Shockwave like WWE Livewire was, and take questions from online fans. The first show could be Tony Khan as a guest. Imagine the ratings to see that showdown.
Look even with how little we know of TK if someone said 8 months ago to the press "we should start doing smaller venues" or even in person that person would disappear off AEW television in a snap.
It’s obvious why AEW isn’t running smaller venues…The locker rooms aren’t big enough to hold all the contracted wrestlers in small buildings…plus catering would be as congested as LA freeways. lol.
Let's be real. The only reason AEW got the deal from WBD in the first place was to fill a vacuum created by the NBA's exit. They got paid overs due to circumstance, but it's given them inflated confidence to keep doing the same dumb stuff that drove off their viewers in the first place.

Streaming is dying. It is the current and the future way of watching what cable tv used to be. It is just overbloated with 1000 different services. People can only afford to subscribe to so many.
@PowerNGlory the only reason Netflix is still standing is because it fired a lot of the writers/activist they allowed to come on and removed a lot of the executives that pushed shit shows. But they are still putting out trash. For every Cobra Kai and Stranger Things they have 3 Dear White People and Vikings Valhalla. The other streaming services are slow to waking up. Paramount was smart enough to drop Halo, Drag show (whatever that's called) and push Landman, Mayor of Kingston and Tulsa King. While Disney is bleeding money no matter what because they pissed people off beyond return for what they did to Marvel and Star Wars.
@@BrendanFinnagin really hmmm. Disney stock tanking under 100 last two years. Over paying for Hulu by 35 million with no return. Last two quarters lost a combined 580 million. Warner has lost over 400 million this last quarter alone, their stock is tanking and it's so bad they are about to license their DC comic characters out to other comic companies. They downsized their entire structure by 40% last month and about to merge with Paramount to stay afloat. Apple + just downsized their entertainment Division by 56% and are restructuring their licensing agreements to save capital. I get it you look at the small picture and yell "shiney" and think of their all doing great because everyone is streaming. But you forget most of those streaming services are borrowing from somewhere and are not making enough back. They bet on growth because of COVID Numbers and now they are losing. Knew you guys would have a clip on this. It’s like clockwork. Can you guys celebrate what’s going on with the business today vs spewing hate? Y’all tried to be an alternative too back in the day and your boss drove you into the ground. None of you, except the homie Konan, can contribute to success of the business. Can you imagine having podcasts like this when you were on TV? Can you imagine Bruno and the Sheik having a weekly podcast to critique the tv you participate then? Seems the wrestling podcasts are full of ex wrestlers no company wants to do business with enough to feed their ego and put them over. Even when O’Shea was on, you tried to bait him into being negative and it didn’t work. Do something new guys - the negative engage that is working for you will not last forever. It never does.
"ex wrestlers no company wants to do business with" See. Even you can't avoid spewing hate while claiming you want to "celebrate what's going on". Toxic positivity is worse than being honest about what's happening in the business. It just makes you a shill and no one wants to listen to a shill.
not even going to lie pimp. I spazzed for a moment. And I think all of us, die hard or not, have these moments. Maybe I truly am becoming one of this unhinged apologists on X, but man as a fan, I and many fans are really excited for the future of AEW, so even the most passive fans that have to use the internet get annoyed - just as anyone that is all in for a sports team. As a fan, the negativity gets forced into your algorithm and it’s unavoidable. What I’m trying to say is, I shouldn’t have ripped Disco a new one. I did the same thing I’m tired of seeing.
These guys had to make a living doing this so they know what they're talking about. Tony Khan has ignored what every industry professional has been telling him since he decided to launch AEW. He consistently books guys built like himself to beat roided-up giants because it makes him feel better. They don't hate Tony. They just know he doesn't have a clue and likely will never get one. He books the way teenage Tony "booked" his own tournaments in WCW vs. NWO: Revenge. The two storylines are "are we friends?" and "I think I'm a better wrestler than you!" Nobody fights over women or insults to personal honor. TK could have saved himself so much money and positioned himself a hell of a lot better if he had just bought RoH outright in 2018, bumped everyone's pay 50% or so, and kept the actual professionals in charge. The man is playing booker with real-life action figures and allowing them to regularly pull dangerous stunts that can lead to catastrophic injury.

Aew was hot before punk got there, then once he got there and that didn’t work out, fans like myself left with him in the middle of WWE having a creative resurgence. It’s less that AEW sucks, it’s just hard for the masses to be invested in multiple wrestling companies. AEW has the resources to get the casual eyes back on, just needs another splash. This is the longest time since the attitude era that WWE has consistently improved without having a down period. I enjoy what I am watch. I’m just annoyed by the negative engagement from folks that don’t watch the show and only listen to podcasts from old wrestlers that only watch clips themselves, and read someone else’s review. Nielsen collect ratings like it is 1951,1000 people in the country have tvs and all of them are watching Milton Berle. How many watch WWE On Hulu to avoid commercials? How many people DVR RAW but don't watch it until Saturday Morning with breakfast? How many people just watch The RUclips Clips because they have their favorite wrestler and only want to see what they do? 5 million people without Nielsen Boxes could be watching AEW a week and they would never know.
Tony has money but lacks draw because he keeps pushing his product wrong
AEW should format Shockwave like WWE Livewire was, and take questions from online fans. The first show could be Tony Khan as a guest. Imagine the ratings to see that showdown.
Problem there is that Tony Khan is infamous for not answering questions.

I think RUclips killed cable not streaming movies and tv.. no it’s all the talented people on RUclips… everyone watches RUclips on the tv’s now
I don't believe anything Meltzer says, especially about AEW.
Gotta love these pictures man😂😂😂
AEW should let the homeless in their shows, might look like a full crowd for once.
Look even with how little we know of TK if someone said 8 months ago to the press "we should start doing smaller venues" or even in person that person would disappear off AEW television in a snap.
It’s obvious why AEW isn’t running smaller venues…The locker rooms aren’t big enough to hold all the contracted wrestlers in small buildings…plus catering would be as congested as LA freeways. lol.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let's be real. The only reason AEW got the deal from WBD in the first place was to fill a vacuum created by the NBA's exit. They got paid overs due to circumstance, but it's given them inflated confidence to keep doing the same dumb stuff that drove off their viewers in the first place.
That flood analogy was AWFUL!!!!!!
if i was fox i wouldnt want that trash wrestling on my network. They are run by a bunch of idiots who do house shows and dont understand how to run the business. Jim Ross- people turn off when Orange Cassidy comes on the network. Tony- isnt OC so awesome lets him no sell even more matches. The only thing that would save AEW is some EXEC going you will do what I say you do and you will have stories the Bucks are gone and so is Hangmen they dont draw.... The whole structure of the company needs to be changed
They did get on Fox though. As a recap show in Latin America
Oh thank goodness
AEW scaling down is the best move AEW could do right now. Those Hammerstein shows had a great atmosphere. There may have been only around 1,500 there but it was a sold out crowd.
They should have scaled down a long time ago, but the real indicator will be when they do big arenas, will they fill them or will they still have minimal attendance. That’s the reality🤔
Nothing will save that joke of a promotion.
Not exactly sold out. I just watched Collisions highlights, and you could see empty sections when the camera panned up. The crowd was still pretty great.
@@johnreyes1749 Bro, they should have saved the big arenas for PPVs only. What kind of a moron (well, Tony Khan) thinks that some new company can instantly move into a weekly touring arena show?
great atmosphere ? i saw video of the aew beta males trying to get an AE Dub chant going it was so soy and lacked any testosterone embarrassing 🤣
WWE will run AEW out of Business .
AEW will survive as long as TK keeps spending money, WWE won't have anything to do with AEW's failure if that happens, they will have done it to themselves

Tony Khans hair annoys so freaking bad to the point I just hate his face lol
He has hair like the new Superman. It's a curly poof.

Tony goes to the same groomer my Grandma takes her Toy Poodle to.

it's time for intervention
AEW was created for wrestling gatekeepers that got upset when nobody wanted to join their exclusive club
If I was any network, I wouldn’t want any wrestling on my network. None of these show are must see tv anymore. It’s all mostly built for children, and aren’t properly produced anymore.
the aew product is still fine , but they lack name recognition and that hurts a lot , they need another 5 years of good tv show to reach that milion or ,or the max move might be rly good
No TV/Streaming company is waiting 5 years for better ratings. lol 😂
@@richrodz711 well , they already have that time

Fox tried to re-sign WWE but USA Network gave them a bigger offer. So Fox went on the P.R defensive.

Streaming is dying. Numbers are dropping across the board. The only service that is doing good, is Netflix. Paramount+ closed its television studios and is in talks with merging with other streaming services. Max literally just cut 40% of its production and is still in freefall, Apple + is a joke, Disney + is bombing one show and movie after the other.
Lololo people only watch shows via streaming what on earth are you on about???
I’m not kidding this might be one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen 😂
@@BrendanFinnagin really hmmm. Disney stock tanking under 100 last two years. Over paying for Hulu by 35 million with no return. Last two quarters lost a combined 580 million. Paramount is trying to merge with Max to stay afloat, they had to shut down their entire television studios, they had to return licenses to companies because they could no longer afford it. Amazon lost almost a billion on the Disaster that was Rings of Power and it's so bad they had to pull assets from their distribution centers and brick and mortar stores. I get it you look at the small picture and yell "shiney" and think of their all doing great because everyone is streaming. But you forget most of those streaming services are borrowing from somewhere and are not making enough back. They bet on growth because of COVID Numbers and now they are losing. But please let's hear how you believe they are doing well ....or is it just "Nu uh, everyone is streaming" because people can illegally view shows from those services via pirate sites and the like. The hard data and numbers say you're an idiot just running off at the mouth with nothing to back your claims up
Who's responsible for the horrible AI images?
Didn't these same geeks have a video saying Dave Meltzer was a Liar so I don't Believe anything they say "AEW WORLDS END TONIGHT "😀
I wouldn't trust anything Meltzer says myself, it's telling he would say something that can be looked at as being negative towards AEW though. Unless we get a quote directly from someone at Fox who knows what is really true?
@2006hulkrules These negotiations take time everything has to be right for both sides
"ex wrestlers no company wants to do business with"
See.
@ read up for my response.
@@budwyzer77 I dunno man. It just sounds like you don’t like it. And that’s okay. It’ll get you one day or it won’t, but there are several fans, like myself, who truly enjoy AEW. I’m also not someone who loved AEWs booking in 2019-21, I watched in the beginning and watched again when double or nothing came back. It’s old.
aew WILL ALWAYS BI BIGGER THANA NYTHING YOU haveve ever don iny our life. Youa re so bitter than you're not aprt of it.
Konnan was a huge draw in Mexico in his prime and his connections brought all the luchadors to WCW. Disco's undercard segments always did well in the ratings and I fondly remember hating him as a kid. They've been part of much more successful wrestling promotions than AEW and Konnan runs his own without the backing of a billionaire father.
