While border-crossing immigrants have been viewed with caution as a source of social division, they have also driven diversity and created transnational societies. We would like to consider the transformation of boundaries in our time through immigration.

職場である老人ホームに20歳のネパール人の職員がテキパキ働いています。利用者さんはより非言語コミュニケーションが優位なのでカタコト日本語で十分です。また、息子氏の配偶者はフィリピンから移住しており他人事とは考えていません。国際化はこれからの日本の未来にとって直面する課題です。
