Spent a week in DR with this hairstyle
Used the freetress deep curls
Pros : Loved the look , held up in water and the longer I had it in the tighter the curls got so it looked more natural . I did two big twist at night and wrapped the ends with a satin hair tie at night and slept with a satin bonnet .
Use Hawaiian 14-1 silk to moisturize and water . The best product I feel like kept this hair moisturizered
Cons : the MAINTENANCE !! from cutting the matted parts to constantly moisturizing the hair so it doesn’t get tangled but I was swimming everyday so that plays a part in that . And the take down in the back took me hours . I have long hair so I had to be careful with how low I cut the synthetic hair . The hair looks curly and nice from the outside but under it is matted when it’s time to take it down
I’m glad I only kept it in for 2 weeks otherwise the take down would have taken forever . Also wouldn’t pay anyone to do this since it’s definitely not a long term style . Hope this helps somebody 😊😊

I have a question. Did your braids end up tangling and matting the hair? I didn this exact style using same hairs as you and my braids are tangling my crochet in the back during the day. Now I have to wear it in a ponytail and its only day 4
