I found that ogre dance doesn't really do much so I'm playing 3 foxy, 2 amin, sharakusay, 1 wagon,1 madame spider, 1 deer note,1 of the field and the trap too. It's really working for me. I also removed Bystials and replaced it with 3 nib and the gamma package. I also play tzolkin, crystal wing, dragoon and muddy mudragon in the extra for this new format. I don't think u need sigma or ptolemy anymore. I also don't play havnis or winda or beast.

@@alexemp6201 Personally, I've been having success with pure VW now that the Armored Xyz stuff is out. PUNK isn't bad but it's not my first choice especially now that Halq/Auro are banned + everyone is siding Droll.
@@alexemp6201 Nah it's just a generic Rank 3 to make. Makes having two level 3 non-tuners much more playable now. Opens up lines when you're handtrapped or have other awkward hands with E Tele. It's also just a good interruption assuming you're playing the full package. The only problem is that it makes Pot cards worse and extra Deck tighter, so most aren't on them. Personally though, I think it's the way to play.

Hey, what ratio would you consider lowering to play a couple of TTTs? Or maybe imperms instead of the bystials? At my locals only few people that I recognize play tears, so maindecking bystials isn't the best (I'm running imperm/ash instead) and TTT could really help out. Maybe less kawloons? We dont have the tearlament card in master duel, is there anything that could be a subsititute until we get it? Would like to play the winda lock variant u made but tears are about a month away
If you draw Havnis, you prioritize sending Xuanwu off one of the VW names. Because it summons then sends for effect, this triggers Havnis. You would typically do this at the end of the combo so the winda doesn’t hurt you, and then if you have the extra body, you can use your single special to make a Shenshen or Wollow to further disrupt the opponent. Thanks so much friend! Unfortunately, Tzolkin-Crystal wing is not particularly both in this format AND in this variant of Virtual world. A relatively small amount of this deck is settable spells/traps, an even smaller amount being non-quickplays (e-tele), so in my testing there was a significant number of hands where I could reach Tzolkin but not have the card to set to make Crystal wing, AND be able to keep going with the combo. In addition to this, I really don’t like the idea of destroying my opponent’s Tearlament monster and then just letting them continue to go off. With regards to the bricks, while they are unfortunate, Beast is actually pretty good even in the hand, as Qinglong, Foxy Tune, and Xuanwu all send for effect, which triggers the Beast draw. Havnis is also just a “handtrap”/extender and a level 3, so it absolutely could be worse. For the payoff that you get playing them, they’re the highest quality of brick I’ve ever played with. Hope this helps! 💙
Oh, forgot to respond to the going 2nd capacity. My apologies. The deck is… fine going second. It’s not incredible at it; you TYPICALLY need an Amin to resolve and/or stay on field to do PUNK combo, and you need to land a VW card to target with the names. It’s not awful, and post-side you take out the Winda bricks, and Triple Tactics really does help. Even without the side, Qinglong is also good at just negating something you don’t like. TLDR: It’s not amazing at going second, but it’s good enough often enough
Sorry for randomly popping in, but I think if you wanted to not use winda, I've seen a version of vw that uses beatrice to send banshee and then sends balerdroch. although in that case you're still running 2 "bricks" (you can still use the field effect of zombie world when drawn) you can get some really helpful effects from it. for one, zombie world on it's own can be a real pain for floo or any type-focused decks in general. the banish on balerdroch is also particularly helpful for fighting against tear. and the whole thing gets a free negate from droch as well. Hopefully this is an idea, otherwise you could just run beatrice for sending other vw stuff to the gy, OR just not run it at all since i've been able to do well without it.

I'm guessing since you're not running beatrice at all you're probably playing the tzolkin package right? Sorry, just curious, looking for some inspiration lol
Hello, I was just wondering if Zeus is necessary to run in the deck, because he’s a bit expensive at the moment? And what about the bystials. Will it affect me if I don’t run jt, because bystial magnamhut is restricted to 1, and they are quite expensive?
I like this profile, I'm thinking to build this as my deck to return playing yugioh irl! I have only a question: I tested it a bit online and I saw that is pretty vulnerable to spell/traps (ex. evenly matched) so there's a way to summon some spell/trap or omni negate to protect the board?
So, obviously dark ruler is a bit of an annoyance, but due to Beatrice and her various targets being broken, you can actually pivot off winda in games 2 & 3 (Necroworld Banshee/zombie world for Floo, Mischief of the Gnomes for Spright, etc.). I’m addition, prioritizing Chuche means you always have SOMETHING even if you get Dark Rulered
D-barrier is kinda whatever tbh, if they call synchro it can hurt but you just go down the XYZ lines, as even the punks can pivot into that. Lightning storm isn’t an issue, as you just summon everything but winda in defense, or just use Chuche popping the storm to recycle your resources. Evenly is a bit harder, but managing your Nyannyan shuffle-backs is important to recoup your value. Not impossible, but you have to play REALLY well to overcome it

You can cut tye bystials and run imperm...if you are that worried about it.

Zeus is crucial honestly, the deck can just drop him so efficiently that I'd argue he's a main card in the extra deck
