"The Legend of Boggy Creek" is absolutely genius at being spooky and horrifying with really no violence or gore appearing on the screen. I love how the film shifts from scary to gentle. The nature sound effects really gives this movie some punch.

We heard strange noises all night. We slept so close together and couldn't wait till the morning.....

It’s Monday October 18 2021. Yesterday after driving for 1 1/2 hours on a remote dirt road in the back of Hemet Ca I pulled off to go pee on a small back road. In the middle of nowhere lay a footprint of a beautiful Bigfoot track sitting in sand. I’m going back today to cast it with Plaster of Paris. This footprint is BIG and has the heel and toes visible in the sand. My friend who was with me at the time was a witness to the sighting was in absolute shock when I told him to come over and look at what I had found. I’ll never forget his face , he was kinda scared and I was too. The print is near a mountain side where a riverbed lay deep within the mountains and you have to go up a steep incline pathway filled with broken bits of sharp twig wood and brush and some broken glass that lay scattered around the print. Nobody is gonna walk that terrain out there barefoot and with a massive foot at that. I woke up this morning and remembered this song as a kid and wanted to hear this before I left the house this morning and drive a total of 3 1/2 hours from my house to go cast this print. I wanted to share this story with someone out there who ever wondered if these creatures do exist. They do

@@hpkomic So sorry I’m getting back to you so long after. I didn’t get a notification. I read on a website called BFRO Bigfoot that someone wrote a report stating they hunted and hiked the area and had an uncomfortable feeling as if being watched then some years later the local newspaper had printed that tracks from a possible Bigfoot were found in the same area, Bautista road. My friend whom I found tracks with said he would go hiking with me and even possibly spend the night there in the area. If I see or hear anything would you like me to keep you posted? Have a nice day

I sorry but I am of the john carpenter school of thought concerning the effect so called high def or blu-ray brings to the table concerning films like this and Alfred h. In that you never give the audience everything they want you stall them time them piss them off and as John who purposely HAD HIS CLASSIC "HALLOWEEN" OUT OF FOCUS TO FORCE US TO USE OUR IMAGINATION (is that what I thought I saw?)when we see the remastered stuff it actually in some cases do more harm to the production then help....I personally love shadows and fuzz that covers things and add to the before mentioned IMAGINATION

That's no reason not to remaster a movie for those who want it improved. Instead it's a reason not to watch it and stick with the older watery version.
