Step 1. Go into desktop mode Step 2. Open Discover store Step 3. Search for program ‘ProtonUp-QT Step 4. Open proton program Step 5. Install latest version (others have said other versions work too) Step 6. MUST RESTART PC (otherwise your Deck would not see it) Step 7. Go into steam Step 8. Go on the Batman game page (in steam at this point) Step 9. Hit the wheel on the right hand side Step 10. Select the new GE version you have installed. Step 11. Have fun!
Thanks a lot! Apparently the latest ProtonGE versions don't run well with Arkham Asylum, it only specifically works for GE Proton 8-25. Anyways, great video!
In addition to what was mentioned in the video, I also had to install Protontricks and then install the missing DX9 shader compilers. When you install ProtonTricks and select the Batman Game, click on 'Select the default wineprefix' then select 'install a Windows DLL or component. It will auto select the needed ones but you can always select additional ones you think it needs.

Ok is there something I am doing wrong I have tried every version and a bunch of different guides but nothing works at all

Hey so i followed and now the game says running but nothing happens
