You should most definitely watch and react to Enter The Dragon. It's the movie that inspired the creation of several other martial arts movies, including Bloodsport and Kickboxer. If you're looking for another Van Damme movie to watch, I'd suggest Lionheart. It's very similar to Bloodsport and Kickboxer. Van Damme plays an ex French Foreign Legion soldier named Leon, who enters illegal underground fights to support his late brother's family. There's another Van Damme movie that you'll probably enjoy. It's called Death Warrant. Van Damme plays a cop who goes undercover in a maximum security prison where prisoners are mysteriously getting murdered at an alarmingly high rate to investigate the deaths. Quite frankly, most of Van Damme's movies are worth watching. Whatever he might lack in acting skill, he more than makes up for in martial arts talent.
Van Damme is a better actor than he's gotten credit for, and improved a lot over the years. a lot of his best stuff went direct to video in the US so most didn't see it.
Lionheart! Saw that in the back room of an old Blockbuster video with a girl I was dating at the time lol her manager was a family friend and he asked me if I wanted to watch a movie still in theaters and it was Lionheart lol
I grew up in the 80s with my brother fighting watching this so when I say this it means the highest means of love and respect from us thank you so much for watching this movie thank you for being different from most.people thank you for being really aggressive and angry thank you for being you xxx
You watch movies like my Mum does, she gets so invested it’s like she’s actually *in* the film experiencing what the characters are experiencing. People who say you’re overreacting haven’t watched a movie with someone like you. I have.
It's still overreacting though. Normal reactions are mostly very subtle, if none at all. Online reactions are all for show, they're almost never genuine.
Michel Quissi was actually a quite successful Kick Thai Boxer in real life and Tong Po was his In-Ring-Name. Maybe that's why they decided to credit Tong Po as himself.
@bladasound That's what I've heard. Since Michel and Jean Claude were inseparable as kids and teens of course they also went to went to train martial arts together. JC did Karate and Michel went to train in Muay Thai.
Well, they did not want him in the cast, for some reason a guy did not like him ( Racism ) so Mohammed Qissi and Jean-Claude called a pro makeup guy to disguise Mohammed the way he is in the movie X) And that fraud WORKED, the nasty guy did not recognize him, they had tell him that was a trick so he was trapped XD That could explain the "mistake" of the name, I don't know for sure though.. I heard that story from Mohammed himself, it's on RUclips, in French language =)
Yes. Those two would make great reactions. Both have similar elements of comedy and action to Kick Boxer, only with bigger budgets. Plus, Van Damme's acting improved.
The Muscles from Brussels in 1 of 2 films he starred in the same year. The other was Cannon films' "Cyborg". A lot happening in this story between the underdog wanting to fight and avenge his brother against the deadliest fighter there who happens to be affiliated with the Thai mob. Kurt's training and appreciation of the essence in it's history, his circle of friends growing into family along with his brother. Nice moments of drama and humor that you do kinda feel. The true ancient art of Muay Thai literally and figuratively kicked into the mainstream because of the movie. More songs by Stan Bush and another score by Paul Hertzog, just like in Bloodsport are unforgettable. The training and action sequences are real cool. The dance scene is a fan-favorite sequence and played a part in his stardom, he actually did the dance on Late Night with Conan O'Brian while promoting a film in 2015. There are 4 sequels in the original series with different actors in the lead. While part 2 was in theatres, parts 3-5 went straight to video. A remake trilogy was set into motion and only 2 were made. Part 1-Vengeance (2016) and Part 2- Retaliation (2018). Both were good and Van Damme was involved with these as well.
Unfortunately Tong Po didn't die. I believe in Kickboxer 2, Tong Po and Freddy Li's men actually catch up with Kurt in the parking lot and put him away for good. Then Kurt and Eric's younger brother becomes the new kickboxer.
Enjoyed the reaction Vanessa.😊😊 I Another Diamond reaction. You are right it is more emotional than Bloodsport. You are right to get as angry as you did at Tong Po. When I saw it was a kid, I didn't realize what he did to Mylee. When I got older, I wanted Kurt to beat him worse at the end. But I'm so happy you enjoyed this movie. There other Van Damme movies for the watching. Death Warrant, Hard Target, Lionheart, Double Impact, Timecop are a few to name. Once again great reaction Vanessa. Look forward for more videos. Keep up the Fantastic Work👍👍😊😊❤❤
I'm loving this reaction, this is amazing, and Vany, you're a gem, because I feel you, I understand , this movie is one of the classics, i love this movie, very satisfying
I really love your reaction, this is the first time a watch any of your videos and i love it, you are amazing and very funny. Tengo buenos recuerdos de esta película pero sobretodo de Kickboxer 2 que la veía con mi padre, así que espero más adelante también ver esa reacción. Sigue con ese carisma que encanta, saludos, tienes un nuevo suscriptor
The guy who played Eric the won the wheelchair he was an actual kickboxer with what an amazing record I don't know if he was ever defeated head over 150 fights or something like that
Let’s stop the BS exaggeration please lol no one can be undefeated that long unless you’re fighting nothing but absolute bums. He has one loss, one draw and two no contests, almost 70 wins. Still amazing nonetheless. But please let’s not jus say random nonsense if we don’t know for sure lol 😂
@@nefariousmex2352 Don beat him but there were two types of kickboxing in those days, one allowed leg kicks. Alexio didn't like leg kicks and Don kicked the hell out of his legs. I think Don also had the flu during that fight, so..yeah they're both still badass, like the greatest ever.

great reaction. van damme is my favourite actor ever, i own every movie hes done and its nice to see people watching them especially the younger ones. he never gets the credit he deserves
Such a fantastic reaction! Love it!!! You'll want to watch lionheart and really a lot of his others. Honestly, most are great. The quest has great fights in it also.
Dennis Alexio was a real life kickboxer and was soppose to be ths main star but got in a kickboxing vs thai boxing with Stan The Man and got his leg broke with a round kick in the first round that is really why he was in a wheelchair.
You're so cute and funny...you make me laugh out loud and smile in many of your videos. If you can react to Jackie Chan's Police Story (1985) that would be awesome 👌😊
I really really really love your reaction to this movie Kick Boxer. I really enjoy watching you react to this movie. I really like watching this movie with you a lot. This is such a good movie. The very first time that I saw this movie Kick Boxer was when it came out on VHS and Home Video.
Hola "Never Surrender" Vanessa 😁 👊 🔥 🦅 Hardcore Action Classic Van Damme kicking ass always delivers. I like how fired up & invested you got. It was exhilarating seeing the world of Muay Thai breakthrough & become popular at the time. Van's character is convincing enough no matter his acting ( it's just due to a lack of experience) his charisma & determination makes up for it. Tong Po was a savage, those moves were devastating , a villain if I've ever seen one. Eric Sloane never should have run headlong against an opponent without being prepared despite how confident he is , it's a clique we both saw coming. Winston Taylor (Haskell Anderson , accomplished stage actor & filmmaker) was great & versatile in support & stole every scene. "You must learn to be faster than any punch or kick , that why wont get hit" The Training scenes are what I like the most ( along with the final showdown) about these movies . He's acting was spot on , looked like he passed the test with flying colours. Maybe you noticed the guy smashing the glass against the table , before kicks him it's gone. I liked the love interest with mylee more than the last movie , with her backstory. It was inspiring to see his bro with the dog to cheering him on & the call of his Totem🦅 & the ancients. Knowing what happened & how she feels about him , there is no greater power than fighting for Love. Taking down Tong Po was epic , superbly choreographed what's more satisfying than a roundhouse kick in slow motion , you could feel the wrath , Justice Triumphs!!! there's definitely other JCVD movies worth checking out like mentioned earlier , I dunno if your ever planning on watching the original karate kid movies , your really like the relationship that Daniel ( Latino) forges with Mr Miyagi. A++. Your reaction to this movie was awesome. That is what I want to see in a final fight scene 😊. I loved your Police Academy ones, and I have seen much more, but I think this one is my favorite one to date.
I'm thinking somebody is getting a liiiiiittle obsessive over a certain Muscles From Brussels lol glad you liked it though lol be sure to check out Cyborg while you're at it lol

Youre going to be really really mad after I tell you that the actor Van Damme and actor Tong Po are childhood friends and came to America together to pursue Hollywood careers. lmao.
Dam your reaction really got to me i haven't been in good spirits but seeing you go from happy to sad to mad to almost crying i truly really like yous alot i hope you have a great week ❤❤❤❤
Amazing film van damme had so many fantastic films universal soldier his acting was so much better and hard target as well it's hard van damme had so many fantastic films
Your totally right, the shaking face and stuff is what would turn ppl away as it take a serious moment and makes it silly from over acting. Still love the guy but yeah, he was known for that lol
Your reaction at 35:25 brought tears to my eyes because it was real & genuine. Movies can impact us in various ways. Thank you for watching this classic movie & perhaps put Lionheart by Jean Claude Van Damme on your list. It's a good movie!!
There is part 1-5 of these movies Van Damn is only the first one then there is Kickboxer Vengeance and Kickboxer Retaliation and both have Vandamn.Vengeance is a remake of the original.
Esta película me recuerda mucho a la de Bloodsport, de hecho siempre las confundía cuando las pasaban en TV, ambas películas son buenas, pero me gusta mas está película de Kickboxer.
That was a great reaction, very passionate. I enjoyed that. It wouldn't be an 80s action movie without a little cheese Vanessa. In the 90s, JCVD's started to get less cheesy. Top 90s Van Damme movies you HAVE to watch: Universal Soldier (1992) Starring him and Dolph Lundgren Timecop (1994) Nowhere to Run (1993)
love these van damme reactions keep them up , his acting gets better over the filmx as he never learned it , lionheart is one of my fav films of him that not many react to , would be cool reaction
I love Kickboxer, it's a brilliant martial arts movie, I have watched everything Jean Claude van Damme, has been in since No Retreat No Surrender in the 80's, and some more great movies he was in are, Double Impact, Hard Target and Bloodsport
40:00 YOUR REACTION!!! Seeing Kurt getting wounded Your face said : "OMG, poor kurt! Hes getting F'D UP!! " Then your face went "OH, HELL, NO! / SON OF A B ---!!!" When Tong Po rubbed in Kurt's face what he did to mylee. 👏👏👏👏👏🤣🤣
Lionheart (US title) or Leon (EU title) from 1990 is a pretty good JCVD drama-action movie, you have to watch it. I think it was pretty successful in the US but totally flopped in the EU back then. One of his very underrated movies till these days. Hard Target (1993) directed by John Woo is one of his best movies, too.
Dennis Alexio, who played Eric, was a real kickboxing champ. They had a voice actor dub his lines because his voice was, um, not super "manly" (I bet nobody told him that to his face LOL)

Thought he was great as a douche bag villain in Double Impact. Would have liked to seen him in more bad guy roles.
That dance scene is probably the most replayed scene Van Damme has lol. Also Lionheart is another great one of his ❤
Lionheart! Saw that in the back room of an old Blockbuster video with a girl I was dating at the time lol her manager was a family friend and he asked me if I wanted to watch a movie still in theaters and it was Lionheart lol
Yep. Lionheart aka A.W.O.L and Sudden Death. 👌
Hard Target and Bloodsport are sick. Remember knock off with Dennis Rodman.lol😎🥋🤙🏾

Youre going to be really really mad after I tell you that the actor Van Damme and actor Tong Po are childhood friends and came to America together to pursue Hollywood careers. lmao.
That makes me happy
Dam your reaction really got to me i haven't been in good spirits but seeing you go from happy to sad to mad to almost crying i truly really like yous alot i hope you have a great week ❤❤❤❤
If you want Van Damme's most legit and best acting, you should watch JCVD.
Me gustaria ver una reacción aqui en tu canal de la película ninja americano por michael dudikoff 😊😊😊😊
Van Damme making movies with his old friends like Michel Quissi just like the old times.😅
Im a new subscriber tommy click from Kentucky USA ❤❤❤❤
There is part 1-5 of these movies Van Damn is only the first one then there is Kickboxer Vengeance and Kickboxer Retaliation and both have Vandamn.Vengeance is a remake of the original.
Tong Po was not afraid of him but the other bad guy wanted to make sure Van Damn lost.
Well. He hurt the girl, so it makes him even worse
Yes please react to enter the dragon next and the sequels to kickboxer don't have JCVD in them....great reaction and I felt your anger 🤬
Esta película me recuerda mucho a la de Bloodsport, de hecho siempre las confundía cuando las pasaban en TV, ambas películas son buenas, pero me gusta mas está película de Kickboxer.
Vanessa - 'I'm not drunk, I'm just crazy!' - aww!! 🤣 #CrazyCuteColombian ❤
That was a great reaction, very passionate. I enjoyed that. It wouldn't be an 80s action movie without a little cheese Vanessa. In the 90s, JCVD's started to get less cheesy. Top 90s Van Damme movies you HAVE to watch:
Universal Soldier (1992) Starring him and Dolph Lundgren
Timecop (1994)
Nowhere to Run (1993)
love these van damme reactions keep them up , his acting gets better over the filmx as he never learned it , lionheart is one of my fav films of him that not many react to , would be cool reaction
I liked this movie better than Bloodsport too. Checkout Univeral Soldier starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren (Ivan Drago).
I love Kickboxer, it's a brilliant martial arts movie, I have watched everything Jean Claude van Damme, has been in since No Retreat No Surrender in the 80's, and some more great movies he was in are, Double Impact, Hard Target and Bloodsport
Your not annoying you just get really invested and passionate about the movies 👍
Between Confidence & Delusional is a thin line..
Like crazy & genius
😅
👊👊👊
saludo desde ecuador, es una de mis peliculas favoritas de este gran actor jean claude van damme

YOUR REACTION!!!
Seeing Kurt getting wounded
Your face said : "OMG, poor kurt! Hes getting F'D UP!! "
Then your face went
"OH, HELL, NO! / SON OF A B ---!!!"
When Tong Po rubbed in Kurt's face what he did to mylee.
👏👏👏👏👏🤣🤣
Best Jean Claude movie reactor..ever 😎💯
Great reaction, one of my favourite movies! Unfortunately Tong Po didn't die, did something in the sequel then came back for Kickboxer 4....😂😂
More Van Damme please 🙏 Hard Target, Timecop, Wake Of Death, AWOL and much more. Great channel
Sup Girl! Like watchin these Fight Movie Reactions
Dennis Alexio, who played Eric, was a real kickboxing champ. They had a voice actor dub his lines because his voice was, um, not super "manly" (I bet nobody told him that to his face LOL)
