    I bought my First woodmizer in 1994 after attending a show in Richmond Virginia, which showcased many other brands of mills. The woodmizer out performed them all. My first mill was an LT 30. My second mill and one I still run is an LT40HD. I run it like it owes me money and it never lets me down. On the few and very rare occasions where we have had break downs Woodmizer in Indiana or Parsons Wood Mizer in Shade Gap PA. has gotten me up and running in no time. And I'm talking about next day service or real time technical advise. I'm 66 now and seriously thinking about buying an LT 70. Not because I need one for the LT 40 just keeps keeping on, but Just because I want one. This company and there product is in my opinion the best out there. You buy one of their mills and you won't regret it. Keith Fisher Catoctin View Farm PA.

    During my tour I saw a different type of improved saw in a rural area in Philippine. The whole saw can be tilted up to any 15° - 45° angles and more. It was operated by 2 hydraulic pistons fixed 1 side on the 2 vertical rail and on the saw machine that can lower up and down together. I dont know how to describe it because it was the first time I see such unusual saw.

    I would love this mill problem is I don't have 100,000 Canadian dollars sitting around and hate loans I might just have to settle for a woodland mill hm 30 max. I already have the Lucas swing blade mill but sometimes I do need to cut bigger than 8 by 8 timber beams

    • @erniet9935

      The blade is exiting the other side of the log, no resistance on the blade there, so no issue and no need to debark both sides!

    can someone tell me what those dangling metal fingers are behind the blade, they slide along the long and have hinges, what is they're purpose?

    • @barryv6524
      @barryv6524 7 лет назад

      they are for removing the plank of wood that was just cut when backing up the saw.

    • @DEVUNK88
      @DEVUNK88 7 лет назад

      yea the board return but what are the silver things dangling behind those, just a visual so you know when your through the cut? when the chains drop you know your out of the log?

    • @DEVUNK88
      @DEVUNK88 7 лет назад

      and they prolly hang at the height of the blade so you'll see if your carriage is not high enough when you go to back it up and to prevent you from hitting the log with the blade, hmm answered my own question I suppose

    • @TimberHog
      @TimberHog 7 лет назад +1

      Actually the silver fingers are there to keep the board from sliding side to side during drag back.
