Really well explained -- so far I'd made use of the data model functionality for the efficiency of data storage (can process millions of rows of data effortlessly) but I hadn't understood how the relationships work -- it's going to simplify my queries significantly as I don't need to use clumsy conditionals to process data into a better form -- I can just effectively do a lookup by bringing other tables into my data model.
Need one suggestion. In the raw data/source datasheet, I have one column for Birthday information in Date number format. Furthermore, Some data are missing and some cells are mentioned with non-number values (i.e "N/A", "Not update" etc.). Now the problem is when I add this Table into power pivot, Dates are stored as text. That's why I could not add any function. Can you please how to solve this?
This is so satisfying. Please in a case where one will have to select 2000 customers out of 4 or 5 datasets with each rows upto 20,000 and column 10. Do I do the selection during the data cleaning stage or during the model selection? Thank you
Question, can you hold control and select each table, and then add them to the data module w/o having to select and add them individually? Thanks in advance!
Very useful power pivot we have facing problem filter wise sheet separated in Power Pivot data analyze tab in Pivot option Baton show report filter page not working in Power Pivot how to solve problem
Is there a way to do the same thing as a Vlookup function? So combine fields from different tables, e.g see what type of article each customer had ordered or these kind of info? Or is only possible to have aggregate measures like Total Sales per customers so measures like Sum, Count etc?
I cannot give this video ENOUGH thumbs up!!! Thank you for explaining this the way you did. It made my life so much easier!

I keep getting an error code when i try to make a relationship between my tables, says there duplicates. so annoying

Sounds like the cleaning stage - query only what you need, and append if necessary.
What do I do if there are duplicate values when trying to make relationships?
do you need microsoft office subscription for adding data in powerpivot table

When I create a pivot table from power pivot it always shows up blank. How do I fix this?
