It took me 2 days, I couldn't get it to pop. Then I figured out the solution. Saw off the old panel. I used a soldering iron to melt it enough to get it off. For the new panel, cut off the edge behind the button. Then slide it on smoothly and you're done! Perfect! :D
For those struggling with this, only pull the knob out to position ONE on fogs, not all the way, you can then position the two screwdrivers as shown, you are kind of leveraging against the back of the knob and pulling at the same time. It pops off easily then.
What is it you are contacting and jiggling? Is there a tab? A clip? Are there two? I wish the video had words to explain and a good view of the switch end after it is removed to figure out what is keeping it from coming out, then how to overcome the snag. Help ???
Never mind. Somehow after jiggling the screwdriver around 1001 times, it finally detached on the last try. I wish I knew what made the difference or the magic is so I could pass it on. I do ask, Betty Lin, that because you are good and saavy about these matters, can you please add voice to describe the solution? Thank you.
Was trying it for about 2 hours and nothing. So, I cut that bastard into pieces and took it apart from the back. But I highly recommend to not doing it that way, because it fell apart for a million pieces. But luckily everything worked after I put it back together 🤣

I used the hole on the bottom....stuck a screwdriver in there and knob came right off (after struggling with top hole for HOURS).
Was anyone able to get this to work?
