Clap is the only sound I could identify as "off model." But that's purely subjective. Great video. I've done several albums with the classics, and a prophet 600 on 2 of them. So there's a lot of common ground. I discovered his work today. And pre-ordered a unit immediately. I hope this next 880 run funds his poly synth aspiration.
I've so far resisted falling down the eurorabbithole, but if it ever happens the Jove will be one of the first modules I buy. Any time I've heard it in jams it just sounds amazing to me.
Such a great interview. I haven't put my hands over a 880 yet but I can't wait to try it, I am just curious to know if there will ever be some sort of expansion module for to add cv control over various parameter... we like cv control :P Also curious to see and hear how the poly synth will ultimate be....
Glad you enjoyed! Jeff talks about CV control in the Patreon-exclusive extended edit. Short answer: there won't be CV control added to this module. (PS it's not just as simple as "adding it" - it changes the design fundamentally)
Big props to System80, amazing project. Great interview
