  • Shear stress can be generated by torsional loading or shear force.
    There are two equations for the shear stresses generated from the shear force:
    Tau=V/A: describes the average shear stress caused by force V
    Tau=VQ/It: describes the shear stress at any particular location across the cross section

    thanks very useful. However, I would recommend you to incorporate the problem example on your video. So, the viewer may understand it in detail. For example on this video how to calculate the von mises value with the given formula.
