What an absolute gem of a video. I've been a Hartford resident for about 12 years and I also happen to be a cable guy and history buff. I regularly go into the old buildings downtown for work and it never ceases to fascinate me the stories the walls might hold (also frustrating trying to install cable in 100 yr old buildings). It was interesting hearing the names of the founders that became street names and try to visually match the old photos of buildings and places with what I'm familiar with. This was a very well done video, bravo!
I was expecting Hartford Connecticut on this.I realized that it was not in Connecticut when the narrator mentioned Connecticut Blvd being in Hartford when in actuality it is across the river in East Hartford.
There was a Connecticut Blvd in Hartford Connecticut but when I-91 was built along with the 5/15 they cut it off in East Hartford… and it kinda became Columbus Blvd
