I and my 3 brothers served during Desert Storm in different places,2 on board ships one in the overseas and one in bootcamp. two went on to retire out of the USN, one a truck driver and the USMC became a Deputy Sheriff. When my Uncle asked how my could handle all 4 of her sons could handle it. I told him she was a tough lady. I retired in 07, which i have not seen my sons since 99, not for lack of trying. I tried in the USN, was told I could not. 17 years since i have seen them. The hate it has caused is they changed their last name after child support was done. I paid for her college from a BA to a DR.DEGREE. To this day I have not seen them.When you see families return after less than a year with the family hurts. But what hurts even more i can not talk to them see them. EVERYONE can but i can not. I have come to know what ALIENATION is.
He is an Officer that does not leave the wire a lot, so when he wears his gear once a month to look at his men, the gear rubs his neck like that because it has not calloused over.
