Netflix doesn't open play the image of a movie in Dex. Same as in this video. Netflix doesn't know you're filming your screen or recording... I don't record and it doesn't let me see the image. Only sound. Same for every one using Dex on a computer. ... ????
Netflix on Samsung Dex keeps giving me error 5.7 when I try to play something, it will play for 3 or 4 seconds the give me the error. Anyone else have this problem?
Already answered you on Facebook, but for everyone else. In my opinion, the best game controller for DeX is the Xbox One Elite Wireless Game Controller.
@samsung Dex Videos I connected my samsung phone to external monitor and entered DEX mode. But when I launch Netflix or Prime video, I can hear audio and see subtiles etc but I see dark screen just like you showed in your recording. Why is this?

The thing is that you have to install the Netflix app when you're in dex mode, Netflix then recognize it as a tablet. If you would to exit dex mode and try to start the app you could run into an issue where you have to uninstall the app and install it again since now Netflix can't run the app on your phone since it thinks it is a tablet. This has been the issue in the past

It works even better now.
If it doesn't work could you not install it on Dex into the secure folder and then have a normal version on the phone for when you are in phone mode?

Nope. I installed mine while in phone mode. I can use it in DeX as well as phone. Works perfectly everywhere.
