Not only are the song choices fantastic to me, but well placed in relation to each others' starts and ends, as well as being generally diverse. The transitions are all practically seamless, too. Some are perfect cuts. Others are blended so well, you gotta stare at "Now Playing..." to even tell when they start and end. Absolute favorite one is 30:35 - 31:16, the way you uniquely fused both songs into one short mashup as it slowly faded it out was surreal to me, it was great and I almost wish it went for longer, since they sounded amazing together and I'm a sucker for mashups. I dunno, I'm sitting here just baffled by the quality of this mix, and I've been following you for like a year or so now. Me and so many others are genuinely lookin' forward to your mixes, and between all I gushed about here and the inclusion of your own remix for "HOT hot summer! ☀" a few weeks ago, your musicality is consistently impressive and has only improved! Just wanted to yap and let you know to keep doing what you're doing, don't be afraid to experiment, and have a great rest of your summer! :] 🧡

I was pretty hype when I found that. tbh I’ve been listening to more vgm than playing the games they’re from but I’d like to change that soon. although working backwards if I’m into a game’s music I’m automatically in its corner. so I’m kinda raising awareness of good games even to me ? @@Pr0guY1 thanks, I’d love to explain my process for the record lol. for bangers pt. 4 I used unaltered art from a chocobo racing cd I found as the cover, with renders of characters in a box around the center. I really loved this aesthetic, and found out later it was kind of a staple of cds released under the PONY CANYON label. I used a slightly more personalized version of this style using Mario kart cd art for the first funky game jams playlist. so I had the option to chose from a number of games that had premade art in this style like diddy Kong racing, star fox 64, etc. but it felt like a missed opportunity. also a misrepresentation of what was actually in it which was largely a mixed bag of songs from games you might have missed alongside some classics. so I started making custom thumbnails out of official art and renders I found. I’m sorry that it’s misleading, the alternative (as I’ve tried before) never looks right because it either throws off the color palette/tone of the composition, or simply doesn’t fit the boxy aspect ratio required to fit in the square. so of the 4 custom covers I’ve made I’ve tried to allude to the mix itself in a few ways but never consistently. in the future I’ll try to commit to a totally accurate thumbnail
