i found a way to do this mod without using two clocks! what i did is i took the screw of my clock, found the center piece, and used the screw to push the magnets down to the same resting place as in the edge magnets, it works perfectly, because the only difference between the two is the swapped magnet height, so its really easy to do. if you do this with both center pieces, its just as if you swapped them with edge pieces! im really glad that i found this video as well, i never wouldve known that the center piece is stronger! great video, and tutorial by the way :)
Thank you so much, and i found that trick too, i am planning on eventually making an updated tutorial talking about the new tips i have discovered to make the clock even better
If you look, the magnets will be further up to the surface than the other ones, also i’m a big fan of your videos :) And if you got a qiyi clock when they first came out, the magnets may all be the same strength
@@ElephantCuber ahhh I will check it again! I just ordered another QiYi clock as a backup for a comp in Canda soon! Will definitely try your swapping center method Thank you :)
You don't need to sacrifice one clock to do the modification, If you push the magnets away with a pencil or pen the centers clock will be like the others :3
@@ElephantCuber Would you recommend adding more weight 5 to this setup to slow it down a bit? What’s your new setup and would you say that it’s slower or faster?
Hey, I’ve heard a lot of people talking about being able to do the magnet mod with one clock, are you planning on making another tutorial that could include that?
Bro nice vid also i have a.rs3m 2020 i had lube but it all ran out also my parents aren't buying me any lube i dont know what to do they say rs3m is very very expensive even though i have like 500$ in money i can t buy anything I'm sad
@@ElephantCuber there kind of is a way. Get the center magnet upside down, get a thumbtack and put it on the small hole. Keep twisting and apply pressure until you are able to see the magnet slightly come out
I find what works best for me is just simply using water for the interior casing, where I make sure to run it under a faucet to loosen up any old lube, and just blot drying it with a paper towel. For the exterior clear casing, I tend to clean it like glasses, where I breathe on it to get it kind of wet, and clean it with a glasses cloth from there, paying extra attention to the peg holes, since that's where most of my grime gets built up.

@@ElephantCuber when is this video coming out???
How can you tell the middle piece has stronger magnets? I already took out my clock before watching this video

Nice. I’ll definitely use this when I get a clock.
Bruh watching this without a clock , I can feel it man
I’m thinking of getting a clock sometime, will keep this video in mind

I love watching mod videos great job

yea i know this now, i didn’t when i made the video
i dont really play clock, but your videos are very entertaining!
I just setup my clock (except I didn't exchange pieces) and it is god like, thanks a lot for your video !!
You’re Welcome, I’m glad you like it!
I pushed a little too hard with my only clock is snapped it in half. How do I fix that?
Very helpful video!
Thank you Mr. Noflip
Hey thanks! Works better now.
thanks, using this right now :)
You’re welcome, i’m a big fan, and I hope your clock turned out good
Wait, how do you make the magnets in the center the same without using another clock? I thought I saw a comment about doing it with a pencil
just push the magnets down with a pencil or some other pointy object
How controllable is this setup? My current setup is to uncontrollable and made me DNF my first podium yesterday.
it is not very controllable, it is very fast, I have also found a new way to set up a clock that is better, but it is also quite fast
@@ElephantCuber Would you recommend adding more weight 5 to this setup to slow it down a bit? What’s your new setup and would you say that it’s slower or faster?
My new setup is def faster
@@ElephantCuber What is the new way and would you recommend adding more weight 5 to the old way to make it a little slower?
I thank the comments for helping out with my problem
It seems the magnets in the pins are kinda weak. Is it possible to mod the pins with more magnets to increase their strength?

Yes, when i get a new clock i will

the RS3M is cheap
@@ElephantCuber eh for you it maybe in india we have different currency that 10$ becomes 800 rupees
Is there any difference between Traxxas 50k and Weight 5?
I don’t think so
@@ElephantCuber K thanks
Clock=best event
Hi, i have dnm, mystic, weight 5, and lunar, what lubes should i use to speed up my clock. Will weight 5 do the job?
You can just put the weight 5 on like I do in the video, and that will work
@@ElephantCuber ok, thanks, that's what I did, and now, after 4 days from starting clock, I'm sub 12
Oh awesome, keep up the good work
@@ElephantCuber I just got my first sub 10 solve, followed by 2 more sub 10 solves, should I stick with standard method or use the advanced method?
There isn’t really an advanced method, just learn lucky cases and do X2 flips, also be able to solve from all angles
how do you undo the mod
just put the center back
@@ElephantCuber but what if I pushed in the things with a pencil
@@SprinkerMC unfortunately there is no way to undo it if you did that
@@ElephantCuber yikes
