  • Since I now have lots more time to capture, edit and upload videos to RUclips than i ever have had before, there are some select recordings i'd love to share with you. This first "feature" is the longest video i have ever uploaded. Previously i would put up a song or at most two from a great artist or show. So here you are, faithful subscribers, the music of one of my all-time favorite bands, Pink Floyd, as performed by Floyd FX. This is a completely live, straight-to-DVD recording in stereo and i think is one of my best-mixed live recordings ever. There is no post-production mixing or sweetening whatsoever.
Thanks to my great crew over the years of Anthony Swanson, Brian C., Ian Crosby, Jon Edwards, Christian Robles, Alex Hunt, Patrick Scanlon, and all the other sound guys we've had, and many thanks to our backline guru Joe Dimico from Spectrum Audio, and Mark Weider, Jim Lata at SIR-SD, Mitch and Eric who did our sound for Streetbeat 2 & 3, and mostly, thanks to all the great artists on this awesome channel. Anthology will always live on in the music here; that is what it is all about. And perhaps someday the club will reopen in some reincarnation, we are hoping and praying.
And finally, a HUGE thanks to Tom Quinn and all the members of the Floyd FX band who performed this amazing cover of "Wish You Were Here" and the other songs in this show. This was played in true "quadraphonic" sound in the club, with an additional six cabinets added to Anthology's already awesome sound system. And everyone should know that our production department was headed by the awe-inspiring Director of Music Operations, and now Artistic Director of Yoshi's Oakland, MICHAEL PRITCHARD! He made it all happen.
