It's really great to see the girls pitching in and helping out. They are developing character and a solid work ethic. Also, maybe I'm getting a little personal here, if so please forgive me, but the way you and your wife openly show each other love and affection is such a wonderful lesson to your girls on what a loving relationship should be. My mom and dad acted like this every day when he would return home after a hard days work. First thing they would do was hug and kiss in the kitchen for a few minutes. That memory has made a positive impression on me that has lasted to this day. When I saw you two I instantly though of my mom and dad from many years ago.
Not too personal at all! Me myself (Chad) grew up with a mother that never showed affection to us kids or her husband. Luckily I spent lots of years living with my grandparents who where the solid foundation in my life. But yes kids, especially girls need to know how they should be loved. They need to know that abuse is never ok. They also need to know that they can take care of themselves and don’t have to rely on someone if they chose not to. We’ll never be perfect parents but we can at least tech them the things that we needed more in our lives. Anyway thanks for watching and have a great weekend!

When we moved to Maine, 57 acres needed to be fenced in. Hundreds of fence post had to be cut, peeled and sharpened and then set into place. You sir have taught these girls well. I was just about to have a heart attack watching as your were daughters debarking with the throwing knives, not because of that, perfectly normal, but because the younger girl stepped right in front of the older (sorry, still learning names) just as she was beginning to drive her knife forward. But the older girl was aware of her surroundings and stopped instantly. That was extremely impressive and I commend both her for her safety skill and you for teaching it to her.
Thank you! Out of everything dangerous looking we do, only one of the girls got a broken arm! Lol Tylynn the dark haired girl fell off top bunk and broke her arm. Accidents will happen. Hopefully all minor.
@@9252LIFE My weekend has been blessed now that Chad the man himself has replied to my comment. Overall been working out and getting stuff done. I have lost 15 pounds in about 2 months and it feels great. One day I will be as strong as you my brother!

When you burn fat and add muscle you will add weight and may get discouraged if you’re concentrating on that scale. And you’re probably already stronger than me! I was a bodybuilder for a majority of my life. It was all about looks and not strength! 😆 I think now that I quit bodybuilding and are busting butt here on the homestead, I’m probably stronger than I was during my gym days. Also I would recommend watching Shawn James videos on outdoor northern gardening. He made some good videos last year on making a huge garden in the middle of the woods in Ontario.

I'm really enjoying doing a random video watch...your oldest seems to really enjoy books and she does like here backpack! I do wonder about that monster stump in your garden area. The root system has to be a pain to work around! I do hope you have some safety glasses and start wearing them when you start with the chainsaw! @@9252LIFE I know it's not bug season yet but if they begin to pop out this weekend while you're fishing I've heard of a natural insecticide that I'd love to know if it works. 8 oz of water couple drops of lavender oil and 8 to 10 drops of tea tree oil which is very safe when it's diluted and bugs absolutely hate it. I'd love to know if it works and I can't think of a better place as a testing ground not to use your family as guinea pigs but it might help 😂
Well it’s the same off camera. If myself or my wife needs help with something they usually fight over who gets to help. Also I know you see them working on camera but they play way more than they work. And by playing it’s usually something quite physical outside. We try to never be in a huge rush to get things done out here because enjoying the process together makes the work not really work, if you know what I mean. But anyway Keith you have a great day!

belive it or not next time you mix concrete use that rake we always use that it mixes the cement really well was my dad's only tool to mix it believe it or not !!!!

I dont know what happens off camera but what we see is the girls are hard working, more kids should check this out
Well it’s the same off camera. If myself or my wife needs help with something they usually fight over who gets to help. Also I know you see them working on camera but they play way more than they work. And by playing it’s usually something quite physical outside. We try to never be in a huge rush to get things done out here because enjoying the process together makes the work not really work, if you know what I mean. But anyway Keith you have a great day!

We haven’t seen any yet. We have had tracks near our gate in the winter. They are scared of humans but will still go for easy prey!

belive it or not next time you mix concrete use that rake we always use that it mixes the cement really well was my dad's only tool to mix it believe it or not !!!!
