@Sagar Ughade Thank you for the kind words. Glad that you found the content informative and useful. Do share this video with your friends & colleagues and spread the awareness.
Thanks for the video, I have one query. Is the investment amount flexible? Say for example, if I invest ₹50K in one year, can I increase or decrease the amount in the coming years?
The anchor has such a calmness to him, that I feel like hugging him and sleep :D. But thanks for such a good explanation. I understand that the 40% of the maturity amount will depend on the kind of product we choose and hence we can receive this amount till our death as well - slowly in a periodic manner.
Sir, your video was really very helpful. I will be really grateful, if you reply to this question. So, after maturity at the age of 60, maximum 60% of the total NPS corpus can be withdrawn. Please let me know is it possible by any means, to withdraw the balance 40% of the matured amount without going for a monthly pension scheme? And if it is possible, then what is the penalty or exit load?
Great video! Does ELSS come under which of these in 80C section 1. Subscription to approved mutual fund 2. Subscription to notified mutual fund 3. Subscription to equity shares.
1st one. In case you are asking while declaring to your employer for form 16/tds you can choose either of 1st 2 options. Employer can take any as ELSS is tax free and covers in 80c. Lock in period is 3 years. Best ELSS is quant ELSS
First of all thanks a lot for explaining such neatly with points. :) Am thinking of investing in NPS(Tier 1). For me 80C is already exhausted(1.5 lac) with other tax saving options except NPS. So, if I take NPS scheme will I get additional benefit of 50k (under 80CCD)? Or NPS itself has to be of 2lacs to get 80C+80CCD tax exemptions?
Hello Saumyadip: Thanks for your warm words. You can choose an NPS scheme for the additional benefit of 50k. We have an excellent blog on this too .. pls have a read at www.etmoney.com/blog/category/nps/
In case of death of the person, what happens with the money invested in NPS account? Also please also explain about nomination facility. What is payment term? Are we supposed to invest without break or we can stop at any time, but funds would have lock-in till 60th birthday?
Although this video is best it's not clearing 100% doubts I think one more video is required to clear some doubts 1) If you select Active choice initially can you revert it back 2)How much minimum yearly investment value is decided 3)if I don't invest in one year and then want to continue will I? 4)Fair idea should be given on annuity and monthly pension with example does annuity rates vary every year? 5) if someone dies after 4-5 years of nps subscription then what happens 6)Is it applicable for defence personnel?

Hello, I have 2 doubts please help with these. 1. Today I am investigating 5000 as SIP in NPS. If tomorrow my salary increase can I increase my SIP amount in future? And I got bouns can I add it in lump also in same NPS account? 2. What if I am jobless after some period?
Recently I started watching your channel and loved how you untangle seemingly complex topics about investment for beginners like me. I have few doubts about investment in NPS Tier 2. 1. Is the equity portion is only invested in index funds by fund managers of NPS? 2. Can I use NPS tier 2 as an alternate of mutual funds for short term investment. let's say around 3 years. keeping the equity portion max out to 75%. 3. Can I use NPS tier 2 as alternate to savings account keeping the proportion to 0% equity and 100% govt. bonds. 4. Is the govt. bond folio in NPS similar to debt funds in mutual funds? I feel most of my questions are connected. Please answer it here or make a short video on 'Can tier 2 NPS be used as alternate to MF or savings account for medium to short term investments. Thanks
Hi Sir, this presentation was awesome. I really got the lot of information about NPS. One thing want to know that what will happen of the invested amount, if NPS holder passes away before his / her 60th birthday? Kindly reply.

I already have exhausted my 80C will NPS still benefit me for tax saving? If yes how much I have to invest in NPS now 50K or 2Lac for the same? Does the Employer contribution help in reducing my taxable income in some way? If yes do I also have to contribute in the NPS for this or just the Employer contribution will do?
@ET money, Could you please clarify on the following scenerio. Let's say i have invested in EPF, PPF and NPS in the following proportions. 1. EPF -Rs.20,000 2. PPF - Rs. 1,30,000 3. Now can i use additional self contribution of Rs.50,000 under section 80CCD(1B) as NPS tax benefit?
@@ETMONEY Thanks for the prompt response. So, it means i can claim tax benefit on 50K contributed towards NPS under sec 80CCD(1B), provided 1.5L under 80C is occupied by other contributions.
