The same way gen makes calls about what he sees and plays that should be made hal does the same. Even if the presence is strong he isn't trying to overwhelm zero or make plays against his calls. Literally there were times when Hal was "screaming" but zero says nothing so it's not like he's screaming over him nor is Hal making it impossible for him to speak. This coach seems to be reluctant to criticize Gen or Zero. At the end Hal was comming “safe on me” and they died to Nade spam, not listening to Hal. Zero would have lost his mind and screamed that they didn’t listen. But the coach just says “unlucky.”
Gen gets criticized all the time. Zer0 gets criticized as much as Hal did on TSM. I think it's kind of important to realize that Gen and Zer0 have been together now for quite awhile. It's Hal that's going to have to adapt to them so he's likely going to get the brunt of the talking to. Thats just how it is.
