  • Hi! Thank you for visiting me^^
I'm making pojagi in my little studio in Japan. I am so excited that I will soon open my online shop, enabling me to share its beauty and usefulness with you.
Instead of simply blocking out the sunlight through the window, as if it were "dazzling" or "hot," we wanted to enjoy the changing expressions of the changing seasons and the passage of time in our daily lives.
Light-blocking curtains completely block out sunlight and make the room pitch-dark. Thin curtains cannot block out the intense sunlight, making the room hot in summer. Ordinary curtains are not easily removable, making creating the 'just right' space difficult. The Pojagi curtains soften the sun without blocking it completely, bringing brightness, warmth, and the beauty of natural light into the room.
Pojagi can be quickly removed and replaced, so you can change the color and design according to the season, mood, or weather. By allowing you to feel the ever-changing nature in your home, you can add color to your monotonous life.
Enjoy and cherish nature. How about these gentle curtains nurturing the spirit of living together?

    🌿About me
I love Korean culture and sewing and was captivated by the charm of "Pojagi," which is made with environmentally friendly material and imbued with the spirit of taking good care of things.
I am not fond of strong sunlight, and my grandmother was so bad in the sun that she wore sunglasses in the house, so I came up with the idea of making curtains out of "pojagi."
The culture of Korea, the closest foreign country to Japan, is easy to incorporate into daily life. Yet, it is different from that of Japan, and it continues to fascinate me tremendously. I launched 'icoto' (my online shop) to bring Korea's charm to the world with Pojagi.
The word 'icoto' means 'nice' in the language of my home country of Akita. I make pojagi with all my heart, imagining that you will look at the window of your room and mutter, "How nice!"
May the gentle light that filters through the pojagi heal your heart 💕

That really turned out quite stunning! Thanks for sharing it. Do you have an online resource for getting the Raime fabric?
