In dearly missed days gone by, hearing this song on a Sunday night when the program Heartbeat would come on TV provoking nauseating butterflies in the stomach as the reminder of school the next day comes immediately to mind; as instant and unexpected as a brick through the window. Oh yes, the memories of school days as a child in Britain.
This song always puts a smile on my face... I used to watch the show with my grandmother every time I went to visit her, but now she's dying, I don't know how long she'll live. She came very close to death a few weeks ago when her blood sugar levels were dropping very low, to about 2, and there were no nurses/doctors in sight at the hospital. I wish I could go back in time to relive all of our moments. I'm sorry for this long-ish comment, I just hadn't properly realised that she actually might die soon. Hope you have a wonderful day. My son (now in his mid/late 20s) was a toddler when we would watch Heartbeat. He would say "not the kissing show". Can't wait until his wedding when he will be reminded of this part of his past. :-)
Just started watching Heartbeat on BritTV. This song makes my elbows want to dance. And then my shoulders begin to shrug... and then my smile joins in.. and then... 😊😉🙃👍🤗
