    In my opinion I need to upgrade my CPU to really feel an absolute difference, but it definitely helped to smooth the game out. Of course I can just play on medium or low but I like good looking games. Edit: I made some tweaks on w10 and I've changed the game to exclusive fullscreen with fullscreen optimizations on w10. Super smooth 75 fps (monitor refresh rate) compared to almost 70 before the edit. Plus with no fps drops at all, thanks.

      Ayyy whatup whatup Chris! This will put a slight more bit of strain on your PC yes due to more power consumption. With more power means alil bit more wear and tear on some parts but it isnt anything I would be overly concerned with. I have been doing this with my PC for over a decade and havent seen negative effects as long as you dont mind alil increase in power haha. I will say I upgrade about every 6-7 years. As long as you take care of your parts with normal cleaning and shutdown procedures you should be SOLID no worries :) Thank you for checking out the video and glad it helped you out yeah yeah!

    Don’t turn V sync off if you have freesync and g sync the only way to actually properly use both of them is by enabling v sync it has a completely different function when using G sync and actually improves latency and FPS dramatically because even though NVIDIA says it’s Vsync it’s actually just how you enable gsync

    • @Zvn1c
      @Zvn1c 9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah that just ain't true. I turn v sync off and g sync works.

    • @aceofspades1701
      @aceofspades1701 9 месяцев назад +1

      that's just plain false. G-sync and V-sync work perfectly without each other. That's an option to enable them both but you will get small latency combined. It is now recommended to enable g-sync cap fps and disable v-sync in general. There is a lot of research behind this for some reason (idk, people don't have anything to do). g-sync + v-sync is old technology.

    Youre the second youtuber that recommends disabling gsync/freesync which makes no sense, it removes tearing and increases smoothness and framerate and you can use both together for quite a while now. Also both of you didnt even give one argument why you want ppl to disable gsync.

    • @infinitecrimzon
      @infinitecrimzon  Год назад +1

      Fair enough Adam. So what does gsync and freesync do... essentially it tries to link the rendering of frames together with all your hardware. Can it make it seem more smooth sure, reduce tearing I would agree. But Increase framerate HELLL NOOO bc it limits your GPU to sync with other hardware. And as for the smoothness and tearing.... its only for really low FPS. Most people wont notice tearing and much difference in smoothness with fast paced games like BDO. From my experience and what I have done for not only myself but friends and family over the years... having them off has always been better for more FPS. In fast paced games FPS is TOP of what you want. Now if it was something where it is slower gameplay and you want smooth interactive Flawless motion then I would agree! But gysnc is more of a limitation on your hardware that could be good in certain situations but not in Black Desert :) Hope that helps

    • @aceofspades1701
      @aceofspades1701 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@infinitecrimzon very true. BDO is definitely not g-sync/free-sync friendly and anyone who looks up optimization for BDO knows to turn it off to actually play the game. It's a lot smoother even though g-sync/free sync is very good for other games. Sadly, spending 400$ or more for g-sync monitor and just turning it off is a big waste. PA/KaoKao or whatever the company was just didn't make a good foundation of the game engine. It sucks and it will never be fixed and this game has been around for almost a decade and nothing.

By following the guide and making sure you are in Full screen you should see an FPS improvement beyond 60 depending on your Hardware. Though there is a catch with everyone pushing FPS... your monitors refresh rate limits overall what you will see. In your Case 60HZ means your laptop refreshes 60 times per second and thus will only ever show 60FPS. By having the ability to have more FPS though, this will help to make your gameplay feel more fluid! The reasoning is bc you are guaranteeing you are maximizing your 60HZ with no skipped frames. So You can get more FPS yes but your monitor will never show more then 60 haha. You would have to upgrade to see drastic improvements.
