The Lord saved my life after I had two seizures two and a half years apart (one in May 2022 and one in December 2024 on my birthday). I’m so thankful that I’m still alive because of Jesus!
Man they omitted "Dark is the stain that we cannot hide what can avail to wash it away? Look! There is flowing a crimson tide, whiter than snow you may be today." That's my favorite verse.
Thanks so much for doing this project! I sung the old hymns in church as a child, and they were so easily memorized that I can still sing them today, even though the churches I've attended no longer sing them. I wish they would. The Holy Spirit often brings those hymns to my mind when I need them.
Praise the lord ,God helped me to experience his marvellous grace in my life too many times .Two of them is that he spared me from death due to ruptured uterus and lost 4 to 5 litres of blood and had cardiac arrest on 02.02.2022 .Second is he saved me from a major accident by a car hit me And I was thrown to middle of rushing road but I didn’t had even a bruise and he made me a living testimony Amen
This hymn is featured today, March 5, in Robert Morgan's inspiring book, A Song in My Heart, featuring "366 devotions from our best-loved hymns". What a surprisingly refreshing new version of a classic I’m hearing for the first time, thank you and God bless!
The name Jacob comes to my mind, and I saw a great loving coach suddenly appeared from the mud and protecting his anointed one's his CALLED and it's like His personality is so BIG, I see glimpse of Himself Herself just enough it doesn't Kill me b😅wakes me up to loving a new day where any of US could be that 1 who wrestles With GOD 😅❤😊🎉🤝
It's hard to understand why God - the all-knowing and all-powerful would be swayed by people (His children) singing about Him. Doesn't He know what He did?
Isaiah 43:6-7 New International Version (NIV) I will say to the north, 'Give them up! ' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back. ' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth- everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” Man was designed to witness God's glory and to bring glory to God. God didn't write hymns. They were written to praise and worship Him, to teach mankind about God's goodness and, in this case, His grace. God's ways and thoughts are above our own. No, He does not need us to remind Him of what He's done. We sing hymns to remind ourselves of all that He has done, all that He is doing, and all that He will do. His gift of salvation is so simple and yet so perfectly written. It is laid out in Scripture for us to see, beginning in Genesis. We, as individuals, cannot come to God. We are sinful creatures. God explained the terrible thing that is sin and how the only thing that can cleanse it is a sacrifice. That sacrifice must be perfect. God spells that out clearly in the giving of the law to the Israelites at Sinai. God provided Christ as the perfect sacrifice, just as He provided the ram for Abraham and Isaac. All we must do is acknowledge our sin and accept His sacrifice for our sin. As Christians, we are to worship and praise Him. We are to hallow His name through trust and gratitude. He provides us His grace. Indeed, it is sufficient for all our needs.

He created us to Worship him 24/7. He doesn't need us yet he wants us.

And what evidence do you have that proves this?
